Mary went above and beyond to accommodate The cabin is adorable with lots of nice touches, and the outdoors areas are simply amazing. The closet kitchen is well supplied . We actually cooked all but two meals during our week-long stay. The bed is very comfortable. I highly recommend "The Bear's Den" for your stay in the Franklin, NC area.

It is a peaceful cabin to relax & enjoy the cool breezes and scenery of the Smoky Mountains.

Our secluded mountain retreat is a split cedar log cabin situated on a hill above a roaring mountain stream with a view of Little Falls across the creek. What an amazing view (and relaxing sound) right off the back deck! Adjoining the property is a neighborhood park easy access to the water. *Sorry. No Pets* Relax in peace! The property is located on the Cullasaja River. Rocky River Lane is a dead end with only 5 homes. A small branch and Peeks Creek border the property and feed into the river. It's perfect for tubing and trout fishing, and if the water is up a bit, it's perfect for kayaking. The stairs from the bank to the river make for safe and easy access. The house is located way off the main drag with equal distance to Franklin and Highlands.
