Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Cumberland Township

Anne and Chad are fantastic hosts. The B&B is an awesome place with so much history and charm. Its spacious rooms and large backyard offer all the opportunities you could want. The kitchen was completely stocked with all necessary items and the prepared food that was waiting for us was delicious and generous. A perfect place for families with all ages. And no better places for family dogs.

We stayed in Gettysburg for a family wedding and to visit historical Gettysburg. Finding just the right rental is always a fun process for us, as we’d rather not stay in a hotel if possible; The Wolf Den was perfection! We absolutely loved the off-the-beaten-path location and it is such a lovely home. To say Scott and Nicole keep a tidy home is an understatement! Not only was it impeccably clean, but it was so warm and inviting with a little something to admire in each room! We were visited by a mama deer, her yearling and her brand new fawn! We also caught a glimpse of a turkey strolling through the front yard. (Things we miss living in Florida) The tree-filled views are equally breathtaking. If we are in the area again, this is a definite repeat location. Thank you Scott and Nicole ☺️

The home was absolutely perfect for what we needed! The layout is wonderful, the fireplace room was a perfect place to sit and read, and we felt like we had more than enough room to not feel smothered if we were all inside! Our four daughters loved the rooms and it was the perfect location - close enough to all things Gettysburg so we could stop back at home for naps, lunch, etc. but removed enough to be peaceful and not feel too cramped by the busyness of town. We would absolutely recommend this home to anyone and would plan to come back as soon as we can!

The stay at Jeff's place was amazing. We didnt spend alot of time at the house but what time we did spend was great! Wish we had more time at the house but it is a beautiful home and spacious. Very easy check in and clear directions! Jeff is very responsive. We would highly recommend this place to stay and are looking forward to staying again next year for the same event.

My husband, father in law and I stayed here for Ford Nationals. It’s a beautiful home and very peaceful. One of my favorite places I’ve stayed at on Airbnb !

Fantastic property, fantastic hosts. A+. So many amenities, nothing was overlooked. Very clean and orderly. Loved the layout. Screened in porch was perfect, patio, hot tub, use of kayaks, freshly baked bread, entire interior was awesome. I’m telling you, nothing was overlooked in making our stay so memorable. Thinking about booking? Do it now. You won’t regret it. This can’t be beat.

My wife and I booked this airbnb to take some time to get away, and it was well worth the trip. Close to Gettysburg, and plenty to do at the property itself. We would gladly stay at this beautiful home again!

We had an excellent stay on our journey along the C&O canal. The owners were very responsive and accommodating to our larger group. Everything was pristinely clean and the bathroom/shower was luxurious. Very happy with our stay and big thanks to the homeowners!

I had an amazing stay at Adam's Place. The Airbnb was absolutely beautiful and in pristine condition. It honestly had a warm & home-like feeling. Watching the sunset from the balcony was soul soothing!. Adam was the perfect host. Always attentive, communicative and very informative. I would absolutely love to stay at Adam's Airbnb again the next time I'm in Harrisburg. I would highly recommend. You will not be disappointed!

The studio was clean, spacious, and well thought out especially for a long term stay. I appreciated the stocked supplies. I also really loved having the river as a view! Overall, I had a comfortable stay with really no issues.

We absolutely loved our stay in Emily's place. It was even better in person than the photos. Emily was communicative and proactive- she thought of everything we needed ahead of time! My daughter loved the hot tub, fire pit, and smores kit!

We loved staying at the historic firehouse! It has lots of space, the living room is huge and it has 2 nice sized bedrooms with comfy beds. Our kids loved the 3rd bedroom, a loft with bunk beds! There is also a full kitchen and spacious dining room. We stayed here while we visited Hershey, it's an easy 20 minute drive from Hersheypark. Would definitely stay again!

This recent Airbnb experience was absolutely fantastic! The location was perfect, with tons of fun activities and attractions nearby, so I was never bored. The rental itself was spotless and super comfortable, making it easy to relax and unwind after a busy day. Overall, it was a completely positive and enjoyable stay, and I can’t wait to book it again!

Just what we wanted. Right in town where we could walk everywhere we wanted to. Mornings were checking up on our horse out away from town, and late afternoon and evening were for wandering around and checking up on everything and then deciding on one of the great places to have dinner. Ava was great for communicating with as needed. Responses were always very quick. Check in and check out we’re really easy! Nice clean place!

Highly recommend Ann’s place! We traveled with our toddler, and it was perfect for him. They supplied a pack and play and tons of board books. My only thing to note is that the walkway to the space is not paved so be aware with small children and suitcases.

Dan’s home is like stepping into a home of history and adventure. There are many pieces to view of his endless journeys throughout the world. The home is situated on a high bluff overlooking the Potomac. The views are gorgeous and many birds can be seen and heard. The gardens and plantings around the house breathe life to the landscape. The home itself is updated with high end kitchen and baths. Master bedroom is spacious with an en-suite bath. 3 other bedrooms are very nice as well. Our stay was lovely and would recommend this home highly.

The place has great views on a nice end lot property; super natural light, high ceilings with comfortable beds! Highly recommended.

Absolutely Amazing Stay! This place was everything we hoped for and more! Beautifully designed, super clean, and packed with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a true luxury escape. The bed was insanely comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the whole space just felt so relaxing. Our favorite part was the hot tub surrounded by fairy lights! The location was perfect—close to downtown bars and restaurants but still peaceful and private. The hosts were amazing, super responsive, and clearly put a lot of care into making this a five-star experience. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely getaway in a gorgeous setting, especially enjoying the water sports and beach areas. During our stay, a major issue with water in the house came up, which Alexis managed to resolve speedily, even over a holiday weekend.
