West Winds

GaryRating, 5 stars4 days ago
The property was exactly what I required as a quick one night stopover on route to Poole in Dorset as part of a one week bike packing tour. The accommodation was easy to find, extremely comfortable and clean and had somewhere for me to lock my bike. Valerie was a fantastic host who was very professional and proactive with all communication prior to my arrival. Unfortunately I had a number of challenges on route and ended up arriving at the property very late however, Valerie was extremely understanding and accommodating. I would highly recommend this property...

Two Bedroom House in Bishops Waltham

JohnRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We spent four days and three nights here. Cliff’s house was a perfect choice for us. We enjoyed a high standard of accommodation which was within easy reach of all the destinations we had planned; Winchester Cathedral, Fareham Live Theatre and Hampshire National Trust properties. Cliff is a superb host and was in touch with us, providing every detail of the house we could hope for. The bonus was Bishop’s Waltham itself with its beautiful Abbey ruin and extremely likeable Crown Inn restaurant. We could have stayed longer, but a return visit is always an option.

Quiet & private bungalow annexe with parking

CallyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The home owner met introduced himself to us on arrival and was extremely friendly. The property was clean, absolutely spotless and smelt lovely too. The kitchen had a 1 litre bottle of milk in the fridge, bottles of water and a few snacks too, which was thoughtful and kind of the owners. The bathroom was spacious with clean bath linen available to use. My husband forgot his razor and was delighted that a newly packaged disposable razor was available in the bathroom vanity unit. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had a brilliant night sleep. The outdoor surroundings were very well kept with lots of plants and it felt whimsical. It was ideal having a parking spot on the drive way too, so our car felt secure over night. We chose this property because of the reviews and photos, as well as being close to the Linden Tree where we attended an event. I absolutely would consider staying here again and would recommend to friends and family too.

The Stables, Wickham

AnnRating, 5 stars5 months ago
The property in Shedfield was really cosy. The kitchen and appliances are of really high quality AND there is a generous amount of utensils e.g. cups, cutlery etc. The log fire was lovely and again there was a generous amount of kindling and logs. The property has under floor heating and it worked perfectly. It's also possible to change the temperature if you want to do so. The bedroom was another nice surprise with a large mirror AND plug sockets close to it. This is a must for those of us who rely on hair straighteners etc! The property is down a single track country road but during our stay we never met another vehicle coming the other way even though there are quite a few houses on the road. The property is detached and really peaceful. A deer visited us one morning too! The pillows in the property are quite flat so it would be best to bring your own. The kitchen does not have salt, pepper or olive oil so again, bring your own.

Spacious room, own bathroom, breakfast.

LovisaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We stayed with Liz for one night and we had our little daughter with us. Liz was so welcoming and had arranged a cot for her. We felt so pampered and cared for. Clean and nice bedroom and bathroom. Incredibly good breakfast with homemade yogurt and bread, which we were served in the bright and nice conservatory. I really recommend staying with Liz!

A Writer's Retreat. Beautiful Annex in Meon Valley

AdgeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Writer’s Retreat is exactly that, a real countryside tranquil retreat. The Annex is very comfortable, spacious, beautifully furnished and cared for. Parking is on the premises and very safe. Rachel is very welcoming and the perfect host. And if you can tear yourself away from the delightful morning wildlife show (blue and great tits, a woodpecker and squirrels all feeding outside the big picture window), you are very central to a wide range of visitor attractions and walks. With three pubs in easy walking distance, and restaurants nearby dining out is doddle. Carol and I really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning next summer.
