Beyond that, the paths wind through the pine forest and the hills among the Capitelles. You can discover them on foot, by mountain bike with or without a picnic. The cottage is located in a wine estate that you can visit. Former stable of the estate, this independent, air-conditioned cottage has a terrace with pergola and we provide you with our swimming pool (7.2 m x 3.7 m).

The Castrum

The 3-star gîte (CDT 31) is housed in an old 13th century house that overlooks the vast village square and is part of the old medieval castrum (fortified square) whose thickness of certain walls and the embrasures recall the ancient origins of the place. The village is part of the Cocagne region within the "blue gold triangle" connecting Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne, a region steeped in history related to the culture and flourishing trade of pastel in the 14th century.

The Martinol chalet accommodates up to 6 guests. Suitable for people with reduced mobility. It offers a large space of about 51 m². A first bedroom equipped with a large double bed 140×200 cm, a second bedroom with two bunk beds (beds: 80×200 cm). The sitting/dining area: A 140×190 cm sofa convertible into a double bed. The bathroom: large shower, sink, towel dryer, toilet. - Linens (bedding and towels) optional, contact us.

Halfway between Carcassonne and Mazamet, located in the heart of a village with all shops (pharmacy, supermarket, butcher, florist, hairdresser) of the Black Mountain, this renovated old family house is in close proximity to many Cathar sites. Many possible hikes, indoor swimming pool in the village (closed in August), Laprade leisure center a few km away, enough to seduce lovers of calm and nature.

At the foot of the ramparts and a somewhat secret staircase leading to the heart of the medieval city, our charming, fully renovated and equipped house is ideal for your family! You will make the most of this wonderful monument and relax in a serene and comfortable place with careful decoration. The 2 bedrooms each have their own bathroom (shower) and a television screen, just like in a hotel.

River Cottage

Au coeur de la Montagne Noire, à 25 min de Carcassonne, cet appartement au premier étage fait partie d'une ancienne maison de village. C'est calme et bien équipé, et dispose d'une jolie terrasse en bord de rivière. A deux minutes se trouve l'épicerie du village, et il y a de bons restaurants à proximité à Roquefére (3km) et Lastours (7km). Votre animal de compagnie est le bienvenu.

As an ex-restaurateur I can provide breakfast, lunches, picnics and dinners on order.
