There is an efficient wood stove, 2 winter sleeping bags (Catharina Defence 6) with associated sheet bags, as well as regular duvets and pillows, blankets/blankets, etc. Fireplace that can be used whenever the weather permits. Approximately 4 meters above the ground, surrounded by green leaves, you can only feel comfortable. A day in the tree house (without the luxury of everyday life) slows you down incredibly. You shouldn't expect luxury, but rather an adventure and the challenge of getting by with little. With stick bread by the campfire and an evening view from the tree house into the starry sky, you can escape everyday life.

The beach, city center and train station are within walking distance in approx. 10-15 minutes away, the nearest supermarket is in the immediate vicinity. Dogs are welcome here!

This is what holiday dreams under thatched roofs look like: The Frisian cottage "Kliemkiker" was newly built in 2016: 120 square meters of living space for up to 4 people on a nearly 1000 square meter plot with fantastic views, directly on the Wadden Sea National Park. A dog is also very welcome. All North Frisian islands (Sylt, Föhr, Amrum) and Halligen (e.g. Hooge, Gröde, Langeness) as well as the islands of Pellworm and Römö in Denmark are easily reached by car, train or boat as a day trip.

Marielund: A scenic farmhouse by the beach

Marielund is a danish farmhouse (est. 1907) in a beautiful and isolated spot right by the baltic sea. It has been completely refurbished, and includes modern amenities, a fireplace and good quality Scandinavian country style furnishing (completed in May 2020). Stunning location, 40 meters from a private beach with direct access through the large south facing garden. Enjoy the sounds of the sea, birdsong and the nights sky in absolute privacy, with no neighbours or tourism to be seen!

Rauszeit SPO - Vintage charm behind the dike

"Treat yourself to some time out!" – it wasn't hard for me as a city dweller to get into this mindset. You can hardly imagine a more striking contrast to the hustle and bustle of the big city. The "Rauszeit" is a quiet terraced house located in the district of Böhl near the lighthouse. Prices include a laundry package and the guest card for SPO. Arriving by car is recommended. The idyllic wooden house is located in the small town of Ockholm, only 5 minutes from the Wadden Sea. Old apple trees frame the ecologically built house on the 1000sqm property and invite you to relax. From the back terrace you can enjoy the wide view of a pasture with horses or sheep. Bathing facilities as well as mudflat hikes are quick to reach, including the ferry docks to the Halligen or to Föhr and Amrum.
