The Traveler features two bedrooms with full size and queen size beds, spacious living area with large flat screen TV, Wi-Fi, outdoor furniture in back patio, fully stocked breakfast kitchen and a full bathroom with shower. This cozy little cottage was originally a one room schoolhouse. The school bell was restored, and you may ring it! This cottage sits on top of a hill with a beautiful view! There is a lot of history in this valley. An old railroad turned into a biking or walking trail, will give you a look into the country. Or sit back and enjoy the quietness on the closed in porch. You are welcome to walk around outside. We live a mile down the road so if you have questions we are not far away.

We are an easy drive to State College for athletics, graduation, etc., and close proximity to excellent hiking, fishing, skiing, and water recreation.

Come to the “back 40” of the farm to relax and rejuvenate! Experience some of the area’s best views on the walk around the perimeter of the farm on a 1.8 mile marked trail! Rest on the deck with a cup of coffee and watch for wildlife or soak in the private hot tub at night and watch the stars!

The St. Jude Tree Farm

The St. Jude Tree Farm might be what Davis and Bryan had in mind when they sang, “you can’t buy happiness, but you can buy dirt.” While you can’t rent happiness either, you can rent the SJTF. The SJTF offers family R and R with scenic views from a 900 sq. ft. deck, a 3 -acre lawn, basketball courts (one indoors), and a stone patio with a fire “wall” (as opposed to "pit"). There are several wineries, restaurants, shops and sights within a convenient drive.
