Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Darlington

Really cosy and immaculate property! I’ve stayed in many airbnbs in Darlington and this has been by far the best. Easy check in and very communicative, friendly owner. Loads of free parking directly outside the front door. Convenient central location, but still quiet and peaceful. Had a great nights sleep. Beautiful furniture and decor, exactly like the pictures. Everything was super comfortable and the fast WiFi and desk was perfect for work calls. Highly recommended and I’ll definitely be staying here again!

Really nice cosy cottage, perfect size for the two of us and even though it is attached to the pub there isn't extra noise because of that. Had a delicious meal at the pub on the Saturday night for our anniversary. A bonus would have been if there had been some bubble bath included for the lovely big bath upstairs, but overall a lovely weekend spent here.

The house is as described. It is clean, well equiped, spacious and comfortable. The instructions provided are clear and helpful. Will stay here again.

The property was nice just as described

We had a very accommodating stay! The host was extremely kind and responsive—when we had some trouble with the Wi-Fi, she was happy to come over and did her best to help. While the Wi-Fi didn’t work well in the front room, she made every effort to resolve the issue. She also kindly moved us to another apartment so my daughter and I could have more space, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a great stay and she was a wonderful host!

Very nice place, nice furniture, nice king-size bed. Good TV with Sky. Nice big walk in shower. Good sized Kitchen with a good selection of electrical goods units and utensils. All in all a nicepkace to stay. Barbara and her daughter are very nice and helpful. Good communication I would definitely recommend.

This was our third weekend stay at this apartment. It has everything that you will need for a great stay. Its in a good location with all shops, restaurants, pubs and parks within walking distance. Parking on site is a bonus being so near to the town centre. Great public trasport if you like to visit different places without using your car. Fred is an excellent host and quickly responds to any queries. We are returning soon for another stay. Thanks once again Fred.

Graham was great quick at responding back to me and very helpful. The home was absolutely amazing so spacious the grandkids loved the window seating they spent most of the days there looking out the window. The beds were very comfy had a good night's sleep. The bathrooms were clean the water was very hot which is a plus. We all had a great stay and will be returning soon. Thank you Graham for having me and my family and the dogs. From the moment we arrived Barry and Sue went out of their way to make us feel at home and aware of all that Richmond and its locality had to offer. The apartment was meticulously clean, so well furnished and comfortable and everything we would want for using the equipment and services as well as local guide books etc. the location was brilliant for a stay in Richmond which itself was a surprise and really enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Lovely and calm apartment, very clean and well stocked, and had everything we needed for a 1 night stay while we were in the area to attend a wedding. The record player and nice selection of classical LPs was a great touch! Check in was super easy and with a personal touch, we picked up the keys from Fiona in their cycle shop downstairs, she was lovely! Easy parking close to the flat and short walking distance to the Market Square and Auckland Project museums. Really nice experience overall!

The is the second time I’ve stayed at Ruth’s Airbnb. Ruth is a fantastic host. Great communication and very responsive. Everything about the accommodation was perfect. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great location, good base for exploring area, trains, buses etc. Flat had all I needed, wanted for nothing, comfortable, warm. Overall peaceful but near lots of pubs, bar, market etc

The apartment was a perfect place to stay to go to a local wedding and also to discover the surrounding areas. It was very clean, well equipped and homely. We enjoyed our stay there immensely and we would definitely return there if we were in the area again. There are quite a few steps up to the two floors which didn't bother us but some people may find them difficult. Communication was great with lots of local suggestions and recommendations. Directions and instructions about the apartment were great Check in and check out was very easy. There was no downside to the apartment but unfortunately the recommended pub across the road was rather disappointing. The young barmaid was more interested in her phone and talking to a young male customer than serving drinks. A large red transit van was parked in our reserved parking space one evening but we just parked in an unmarked space overnight instead, so it wasn't a problem. We had a lovely meal at the Fox Hole in Priestbridge.

Absolutely beautiful apartment in the perfect location - peaceful but short walk from everything you need including the gorgeous town centre of Richmond. I absolutely loved my stay and will definitely be back!
