If you’re looking for a vacation home, or a place to escape this is it. The Villa is solar powered so if you’re big on saving energy this is a plus. The rooms look exactly as described and exactly as shown. It was squeaky clean and beautiful. The pools are amazing, fresh water and warm. I was swimming morning, afternoon and evening! The staff is exceptional. The coordinator Rhocyl, the house manager Jacky, our sweet awesome driver Biloy, and Chef Dario along with the other staff members - they all went over and beyond with accommodating & helping us and making us feel at home. I felt comfortable and secure with the staff. Jacky was quick to accommodate last minute requests and Biloy happily drove us everywhere 😇 I know that I have a place to return to when I come to Panglao and it’s Villa Tawala My only wish, is that we take the crew along with us to our other destinations but I’m sure they would be missed! Amazing value, great location and the accommodation is ideal for anybody. Also bigger than we expected and has lots of useful utilities.

We had a fantastic stay at John's place. John himself was such a gracious host. The space was clean, clutter-free, and complete with amenities to make for a convenient stay (from towels to shampoo and body soap, down to sponge and dishwashing liquid... cooking utensils too). The towels were soft and smelled super clean! A family of 7, we arrived with two cars which we were able to park within the area without encroaching on the road. The kids loved the wifi speed, Smart TV, and... yes, the quiet A/C, and solar power system. We were delighted that the kids' favorite items on our sight-seeing list were within 10 minutes' drive only from the AirBnB: the Bohol Bee Farm Resort, South Farm, and Bohol Ocean Fantasy Show. Chocolate Hills, Loboc River Cruise, and Mirror of the World were also about 45 minutes to 1 hour away. All extremely easy to locate with Google Maps. Overall, what a memorable stay! We highly recommend John's place for families doing a self-drive DIY tour of Bohol.

I had a great stay at this property. It felt very secure from the moment I arrived, with an enclosed area before reaching the house. There was one outdoor camera overlooking the pool, which added a nice sense of security without being intrusive. The house itself was clean, modern, and clearly built with care. The bed was super comfortable, and the fridge was thoughtfully stocked. The location was quiet, private, and tucked away in a peaceful local neighborhood. On the way in, you pass by kids riding bikes and friendly neighbors, which added to the charm. Andy was very communicative and helpful throughout the stay. The local staff member on-site was kind and made everything run smoothly. Other guests in nearby villas were friendly and respectful, adding to the overall good energy of the place. The only minor drawback is the unpaved road leading to the villa, which can be a little tricky. Still, everything else more than made up for it. I would absolutely stay here again.

We would definitely book this place again when we go to Bohol. The internet is super fast, it’s very quiet. The bed and pillows are comfy and it had everything we needed. Kuya Gil is so friendly and accommodating.

So glad we found this place. It's a tiny but GREAT home. Lends itself well to an extended stay. Likes: * Extremely fresh and clean place * Very helpful and responsive hosts * Good wifi and smart TV * Bedroom has aircon * Hot/cold water dispenser and fridge * All kitchen utensils, oil and salt provided * Private backyard with gas hob cooker and clothes line *Quiet safe area, small local stores, walkable (or short ride) into town for all amenities Worth noting: The bathroom is reached via the backyard (well-lit). Good shower pressure. Low toilet height and bucket flush might be a challenge for some, worked fine for us. Overall: great for the price, highly recommended.

This is a beautiful hidden gem in Dauis. We didn't want to stay too close to panglao because of noise, traffic and clutter. Dauis is a convenient distance from both the airport and attractions in Alona and surrounding sights in neighbouring municipalities. If needed, grab or tricycles are easy to hail with assistance from the subdivision guards. while there's no laundry facilities at the house itself, it is very close to a laundry shop with very reasonable prices that also offers pickup. For the price, the value is amazing. We were nestled in a well guarded subdivision with easy access to a well maintained pool and function area. If you want a feel of true filipino hospitality, you can't go wrong as the guards and the subdivision attendants will quickly be great friends that offer local tips and recommendations. definitely a must book for people who aren't fussed about being close to alona and for those who prefer a more authentic provincial experience

We stayed in Mikael apartment for 20 days and we felt like at home. There is everything what you need. Resort is peaceful with a great staff who is always willing to help you. Hopefully we will come back next year. Thank you so much! Alex & Bella
