It's pretty amazing that it's only 2 minutes walking distance from all the pubs, restaurants and lots to visit near by. Even tough it's a very busy area, it's extremely quiet so you can relax at any time of day. Friendly people all around, even the neighbours salute you in the morning. I will definetly be back in Hoorn, and if available I will book this house again.

Martin always responded very quickly – it was a wonderful stay. The room was spotlessly clean, and he even left us some food. It has air conditioning and a private bathroom. The room never feels stuffy, and there’s also an air purifier. In terms of location, it’s about 20 minutes to the city center by bus

Linda was a very friendly host who always responded quickly to messages! It was noticed that she put a lot of effort into furnishing the apartment. The apartment is very quaint and cozy. You couldn't live more centrally in Alkmaar: shops, restaurants, etc. can be reached in less than 2 minutes. Unfortunately, the church tower clock strikes every quarter of an hour at night, which was a bit difficult at night. Linda has provided us with earplugs for this. The beds were very cozy for it!

Our 8-day stay in the Holland countryside was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was smooth and straightforward—everything was clearly explained and easy to follow. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel completely at home from the start. The house itself was spotless—super clean and fresh, clearly cared for with love. It looked exactly like the photos and matched the description perfectly, which was such a pleasant surprise. We also really appreciated the helpful instructions and thoughtful local recommendations that made exploring the area so much easier and enjoyable. The rural setting was absolutely beautiful—peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature, yet still very walkable. We spent many mornings simply enjoying the serenity of the countryside. This stay was an absolute gem and a fantastic deal for everything we got. We’re very grateful for the experience. Highly recommended! ☺️❤️

This is by far one of our favorite Airbnb rentals! The home is comfortable, the location amazing, and the view from the back patio serene. The community is very walkable and provides a quiet place to see canals, ducks, swans, etc. There are restaurants, ice cream, and shops a bike ride (or short drive) away. The home is exactly as Maddy Christine and Tim describe. It has everything needed and more! Book it...you won't regret the calm that this space can provide after a long day of sight-seeing!
