My family and I had an incredibly comfortable stay at The Red House for our son’s graduation at UIUC. The house is in good proximity to campus, which was very practical, but we were also absolutely charmed by the tastefully decorated interiors and comfortable beds and furniture. You can tell that the home was designed to offer a special experience for its guests, so we couldn’t be more grateful to have chosen it for our special occasion! The wooden staircase is absolutely special and we couldn’t help but take some pictures as we were getting ready for the graduation ceremony, which came out superb and will leave us with lovely memories for the years to come. Couldn’t recommend The Red House and the host more! Thank you, Rhonda and Todd!

We enjoyed our stay at Kristin’s place! It was a great retreat from the chaos of a wedding weekend in Decatur. Everything was exactly as described, and our pups had a great time, too!

The Allison Townhouse is SO unique - it's like stepping back in time! It's much larger than the photos depict, yet homey and very comfortable. The beds and linens are top notch, the AC runs ice cold, and there's plenty of hot water. We really appreciated that the owner provides basic laundry, kitchen and cleaning supplies! Yes you can hear the train, but you get used to it very quickly. The downtown area is quaint and walkable (we recommend Guzzardo's and Spirited Republic!). We truly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return!

We had a wonderful stay at Brianna’s Airbnb. It was a great place to escape the craziness of a wedding weekend. We stayed with my in-laws and our new baby and felt like we all had our own space with two primary suites. The amenities were perfect and there was a lot of thought put into what was in the home. We will definitely stay here again!

Another great stay at Kent’s home. Backyard is wonderful and our group of 12 was very comfortable. Gracious host and great communication.

This Daisy Lane property was a dream location for a “destination staycation” — The property immediately felt like “home” and was extremely clean & well stocked with great amenities throughout!! 😍🤩 The pool glistened & hot tub was wonderfully steamy & super relaxing!! **We stayed the first week in June & paid to have the pool heated. We would recommend heating the pool to anyone staying in the Midwest before July/August (when regular seasonal temps would naturally heat the water to a more comfortable temperature).** The game table was also a very fun & unique feature — it provided great indoor entertainment when the weather outside wasn’t cooperating. 😁 Our hosts were quick to respond to any questions & were very friendly & eager to make sure we had an enjoyable stay!! 🥰 We will definitely recommend this Beyond The Path listing to friends & family & will be keeping it on our short list of places to return to in the future!! Renee was a great host with quick response time and provided added resources for what shelbyville had to offer. The house exceeded our expectations and we appreciated all the amenities that the house had to offer- will be recommending to other organizations to use for retreats!

The house is immaculate and the backyard is fantastic. I had family in town for a memorial service. Since I didn't have enough room in my own house for everyone, I rented Steve and Angie's. It was the perfect setup for us, and being able to unwind in the wonderful backyard after the service made a difficult day a whole lot easier. Steve and Angie were very easy to work with. I highly recommend!

We have stayed with Karen before, and we had a great experience, so we stayed again while in town. The house is nice and neat. Karen is very responsive to any concerns.

Our stay was perfect! Staying at the cabin was peaceful and just what my family and I needed. We had a wonderful time and loved being able to just be together as a family in nature. If anyone wants a peaceful stay with great hosts this place is where you want to stay! We would definitely stay here again!

Nice place and would stay there again

Beautiful oasis in the middle of a busy area! We were surrounded by people for 3 days being at the busy Rantoul Family Sports Complex for a tournament. Coming back to this zen-like, quiet, clean, and spacious apartment made the weekend much more enjoyable.

I'm not an advide camper. I took my sister with me to get a weekend away from family. Julie was on top of all my concerns and questions. I may have been too annoying. so I'm sorry if I was. However, if she'll have me I'd love to bring my family back for next spring. perfect for light camping.
