Cute place for two adults, a 6 y/o and 2 poodles. Our stay was one night and this place was perfect for a stop in west central IL

I’ve stayed here with my husband four times and each time it’s been lovely. We can’t wait to come back. Such a beautiful space.

Great spot! Unfortunately Mother Nature was in control, so I wasn't able to enjoy everything they offered lol I would most definitely recommend and come back and stay again without a doubt!

We had a great stay at Brian's place and enjoyed the small town very much. The house was clean and well appointed; we had more than half our meals in. Grocery and restaurants are close, and a small marina is even closer! It's just a walk up and over the levee (no nibbles that day tho). The dog park a short walk around the corner was great for our two pups. We appreciate that Brian's house is pet safe and friendly.

Kimberly’s school house canyon home was perfect for our stay! My husband and I wanted a home to stay in while we explored Starved Rock and Matthiessen state parks. The school house is perfectly situated between the two parks, and was a comfortable stay in between picturesque hiking. We especially enjoyed the fenced in yard and fire pit for relaxing evenings!

This exquisite MCM GEM in Berwyn was the perfect home base for us while visiting Chicago. Every corner is curated with unique and authentic MCM touches, all with the contemporary creature comforts one could want and then some. Everything was sparkling clean and April was a superb host. We hope to come again, & highly recommend!!

We loved Andrea's house on 23 Lookout Trace. We had a large family group with 10 people, including 4 children, and the place was spacious, comfortable, and full of great activities for everyone. The adults loved relaxing in the living room area and listening to records, while the kids had a blast playing air hockey and ping-pong! The kitchen was well stocked and provided everything we needed for making meals. The large grill was a plus for grilling out in the warm weather. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back! For other parties considering this home, if you have a person with mobility issues, there are steps to get into the home, but there is a good railing and Andrea was very upfront with us as one person in our party has mobility issues and uses a cane.

It was a perfect place to stay for a few days. The skylights and all the beautiful plants really stood out. We really enjoyed the coffee bar to start our mornings. Lots of indoor and out door space. The room had the ability to adjust temperatures for each room. Great communication on check in etc.

This home had everything needed to have a relaxing vacation. Its always difficult to find a nice home that allows pets. We enjoyed morning coffee on the back deck which reminded us of being in a treehouse. We walked our dogs around this peaceful neighborhood while enjoying all the wild flowers. We came home rested and relaxed!

Joel’s place was absolutely beautiful! It was secluded and peaceful but also very close to down town. I loved drinking my coffee outside in the mornings it was so peaceful! I’d recommend Joel’s air bnb to anyone wanting to travel to galena. I’d go back in a heartbeat! Joel was a great host. He gave us all the information and checked In on us throughout our stay. We had a great time!

We loved that it had four bathrooms. It's very quiet. The surroundings are beautiful and natural. We liked that it's not too close to downtown Galena and all that commotion. Our dog was right at home, too. ;⁠-⁠)

Poolside High Life was definitely worth its value our group enjoyed our time there so much, we will definitely recommend to other large group that want a nice weekend getaway for whatever occasion. Both hosts were super nice and welcoming! Thank you for a great stay!

We booked the pool house for our anniversary and it was wonderful. The house, pool, sauna, hot tub, gardens, everything was perfect. The hosts have set an amazing experience with lots of little touches that make it even better, like homemade jam and a selection of herbs. We also explored the region a little and the local restaurants and sights are not to be missed. Thank you for a great experience!

The cabin was exactly as described and pictured in the listing! My dog loved exploring the gravel road and private beach. I enjoyed unwinding from my hectic work schedule, and diving into the books I brought with me to read. I ended up taking a day trip to Hannibal, MO and stopped in Navoo on the way back and definitely want to plan another trip without my dog in tow so I can take more time exploring. Rebecca was quick to respond to any questions I had about the area and with recommendations for places to eat. Her neighbor was there when we arrived and was charming and full of tips for both myself and my dog as well.

Didn’t have to worry about the accommodations so we could enjoy getting together with family.

Rustic Cabin is on a beautiful spot on the river, with a deck with a great view. It had everything I needed for a night of rest after a long day.

This was the perfect peaceful getaway. The site was beautiful and felt like home right away. The sleeping tent was clean, sturdy, and comfortable. The bathroom setup was better than expected—hot water, clean toilet, and great shower. We spent most of our time relaxing by the fire pit, listening to birds and rustling trees, and taking in the view. Everything was just as described, if not better. Would gladly return!

Great place! The bed was so comfortable and there was great water pressure in the shower. Now that I got the important stuff out the way, this place is so cute! I came in with my pup and stayed in St. Louis for about a day and a half, and this was perfect for us. It is exactly like the photos and the host were responsive and so kind. I was able to drive into and from STL easy peasy. I would definitely recommend this place!

Went for a quick overnight getaway and absolutely loved the cabin. It had all the necessities and was fairly clean. The outdoor shower was great but the warm water runs out quick. The area is private and peaceful, you can hear guests at the other cabins and the goats when it's quiet, but not too bad. The firepit area is clean and well set up, plenty of wood cut and ready to use. The trails are nice to walk and pretty clear. Didn't have to get ahold of the host for anything but the check in instructions were clear and everything was well marked and easy to find. We absolutely loved the decor in the cabin, Captains Quarters. What a fun theme! Will definitely be back to stay again!
