Sarah's place was perfect for my husband and I for a long weekend away! From booking to check-out, Sarah was very communicative. Everything was neat, clean, and tidy. She has really maximized the small space very well. We felt right at home. While there are kayaks , a canoe, and a peddle boat, unfortunately, while it was very sunny most of the time, the wind was cool, so we did not get to take advantage of water activities like we would have liked to. I would love to go back and enjoy this special place when we can spend more time outside enjoying the deck and water activities. We did take day trips to South Haven and Saugatuck from here. The lake is very peaceful, with a pair of swans gliding by each morning around 6:30! I would definitely recommend this little gem!

The cottage was beautiful, and though there was a little bit of miscommunication, Tim and Kate went above and beyond to come up with a solution for us! We would definitely consider staying again when it's warmer out!

One of the best Airbnb stays I’ve ever had — truly exceptional. Every detail was thoughtfully considered: from a perfectly stocked kitchen (yes, even cereal and Pellegrino) to unexpected little touches like face masks and other comforts that made the experience feel curated rather than generic. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the climate control was spot on, and the screen porch… pure magic. The moment I got out of the car and was greeted by farm dog Atlas, I knew it was going to be a special stay — and it absolutely was. The house itself is warm, welcoming, and beautifully maintained, but what really sets this experience apart is the generosity and thoughtfulness of the hosts. They made me feel immediately at home — comfortable, cared for, and truly welcome. I’ve already booked my next stay and can’t wait to bring my daughter back this summer. It was just that incredible.

Really enjoyed our time at Gravel Lake. The location was 10 mins from our grandkids. The cabin was perfectly outfitted and very comfortable, even in the winter! Totally coming back.
