Family-friendly holiday rentals in Deception Bay

Annette is The Best host you can ask for. Very responsive, proactive and really good-hearted. She took the extra effort to inform me of potential road closures on my road trip due to flood. Not only that, upon hearing that my flight timing from Singapore was advanced by few hours, without any hesitation she told me to just come early 7am check in, and this happened months before the trip, and even told me that no worries about any potential booking the day before. Talking about the house, it was great. Lots of space and privacy, and the jacuzzi is wonderful to use on a cold early winter night. It’s like onsen experience but a lot more private. The surrounding of the house is beautiful and peaceful. Of course you will need car to get around but then again you need a car everywhere in Australia. And the supermarket is just 3 minutes drive away within the same estate (no need to drive to main roads). Overall if we come back to Brisbane again, we know where to stay. Thank you Annette!

We would have stayed longer if the place was available. We stayed for 1 week and it was well worth what we paid for. The place was homely, clean and spacious. We were able to cook our own meals with the fully equipped kitchen. The location is perfect, you have the train station across the road and you’re behind the town centre so everything is accessible via walk; restaurants, supermarkets, bakeries. But importantly, it’s still quiet and private despite it being so close to everything. Adam was a great host, very friendly and his communication was excellent. We had trouble with the vacuum and he came through and helped us with it. We will absolutely stay again when we visit family in Cleveland. Thanks Adam! Highly recommend.

Very peaceful property and lovely area! Cottage had everything we needed for our stay and was great for the kids. Hosts were very responsive and even dropped off a basket of homemade goodies and delicious scones! We had a great stay.

Great spot - new and well appointed. Clean and easy to get in, which was great! Amazing views of the dolphins feeding which serves as a great backdrop to sundowners!

This is the perfect house for a family getaway. The house has plenty of space , a great yard and pool. Big kitchen with 2 fridges. All of our friends had a great time for much needed catch up. Debbie- Lyn was very accommodating and easy to reach if we needed anything. I would highly recommend this house for your stay!

The delightful host met me at the apartment with milk & snacks then showed me round. It is luxurious and has a well stocked pantry. Beds are comfortable & powerful showers. Lots of towels. Walking distance to the ferry, buses and footbridge to get into the CBD. If I could give more stars then I would. I would definitely rebook this apartment.

Had a wonderful Easter long weekend at Julie's. Amity was the perfect spot for us (2 adults, 2 kids and our doggo) - we enjoyed the sunsets, coffee at Bo's and drinks at the Pav. Our dog's fave part was the daily drive we'd made to Home Beach :) Julie's beach house was lovely and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. With an amazing collection of artwork, books and kitschy knick knacks, one can tell that Julie is a wanderlust herself - which makes Airbnb such an amazing platform for travelers. We hope to visit again one day. Straddie is such a special place, and we acknowledge the Quandamooka people and their ownership of the land we'd visited.

We stayed in Brisbane for two nights with our two Mini Schnauzers. The apartment has a private grassed area just outside the front door which was fantastic for the dogs. Apartment was just as described by Richard. It is very comfortable, everything was very clean and Richard has just about everything you need in the apartment. Great value for a dog friendly apartment within 5 mins walk of James St precinct and the Gasworks area at Tenerife. Highly Recommend to dog owners.

Alyssa’s place is in a quiet, peaceful location, perfect for relaxation. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped, and the living room and balcony provided great spaces for family time. Alyssa and her partner were very friendly, and her son was so kind to play with my kids. Highly recommend this cozy, welcoming spot!

My daughter was at the Wesley Hospital for two weeks and we required accommodation that was close, affordable and able to have our two dogs, one large border collie and a small poodle. Dawn was very accommodating and welcoming and allowed us to have our furr babies in this hard time. The house was so clean and had beautiful furniture and beds. The beds were so comfy! There is no yard for the dogs, just for future guests but it's no problem if you walk them everyday and there is a enclosed front balcony which we loved to sit on. Thank you Dawn for your beautiful home and your welcoming nature. We will miss the comfy beds !

Leonie went above and beyond to make our stay just perfect .. she even graciously gave us an extended checkout which helped us out enormously. There was absolutely nothing we needed that she didn't provide. Her accommodation is spotless . She generously provided croissants butter jams etc .. 2 differents yogurts blueberries .. eggs .. milk and all the condiments as well as selections of tea and coffee and cooking essentials. The kitchen crockery cutlery glasses etc were all gorgeous. The bathroom was also spotless with beautiful products and Leonie thought of everything from hairdryer to deodorant and toothpaste . to sunscreens .. amazzzing! It's also within walking distance to so many great restaurants .. we especially loved Vietnam House and the stunning dog friendly Victoria park is right there. All in all we wished we could have stayed forever! Thankyou so much Leonie you made our Xmas Extra Special .. we just hope we can rebook on future visits!🪷

What a fantastic stay! Miriam is an absolute gem of a host – so accommodating, incredibly responsive, and genuinely a pleasure to communicate with. Her apartment was immaculately clean, and the location is unbeatable! It's super convenient for the CBD, plus there's a fantastic French bakery right around the corner that we adored. Highly, highly recommend Miriam's place!

This place exceeded expectations for us, with the space, and the lovely quiet location. Shops were a short drive away, with lots of food and other options. Very responsive hosts, with generous stocked fridge and cupboard, great large screen Tv, styling was just right - pleasant and tasteful, not overdone or underdone. Beds were super comfortable. It really met our need for a nice tranquil week away, to recharge and spend time together. The pool looked so nice and inviting, but mid winter chill kept us cosy inside most of the time. Be great to return in warmer weather, if we ever have the chance. Thanks for making available, a really nice place, and providing for our needs so well. Cheers!

We so enjoyed the peace and quiet that permeated the space, along with the magnesium pool. We were very appreciative of the many extras provided that we have not come across in other AirBnB’s. Great location and we enjoyed our stay spending time exploring the City. The kids loved the pool.

We had a lovely stay at Fleur and Peter’s place. The apartment was well-located close to shops, places to eat, and the beach. It came with all the amenities we needed to have a comfortable stay, including reliable wifi. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Overall, no complaints and would stay again the next time well up in Sunshine Coast.

I have to say LJ'S apartment is perfect. LJ'S attention to detail and the extras that were provided for breakfasts was unexpected but much appreciated. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.
