The managers, Steve and Jan were awesome, lively people. The accommodation was amazing. Well equipped, perfect location and beautiful views of the ocean from the bedroom. We will definitely be staying their again.

The apartment gets ample sunlight, we went in june so it was nice to get sun in the morning Tram stop is about 5 mins walk and so is easy to travel by public transport even late at night. The apartment was well kept and clean. We had asked for an extra mattress for the kid, which was provided with sheets

The place was perfect for our needs. It had plenty of space for the 2 of us. We love walking and beach access was very close so we were able to walk on the beach multiple times each day. Walking along the beach is also a great option to get to the sunshine beach cafes and restaurants.

I really appreciated all the little touches of home that you have made throughout the house. I had the best sleep of my life with the fresh air and soothing sounds of the rainforest, and it was just lovely to feel so isolated yet a short drive from some great attractions in the Daintree. Also, I need to buy myself a hammock now! I could have stayed in that hammock on the verandah with the ocean view for days on end haha. Thank you again for providing a welcome escape to nature.

This apartment is on the 27th Floor with a free car park. The view is stunning during the day and night. Inside the apartment is spotless clean. We only stayed 2 nights on the weekend and would love to stay longer next time. We definitely will be back and strongly recommend to others. Cheers. 😍

Rhondda’s home is impeccably clean and beautifully maintained. Every convenience is thoughtfully provided, and the space is spotless throughout. As a family that travels frequently with our baby — staying in different accommodations every couple of weeks — we can confidently say that Rhondda’s home is the cleanest we’ve experienced. If her place is available, don’t hesitate — book it right away.

perfect place to stay with friends or family! So quiet and peaceful, beautiful views and the cottage is perfect! Particularly enjoyed the heated mattress toppers, fresh flowers and gorgeous decor! had everything we could possibly want or need. Also nice and close to town, and other things like the waterfalls!

We did really enjoy our time at the farm. It is so beautiful and was exceeding our expectations 😍 To live in an Australian farmhouse for 10 days with all the beautiful Australian nature and birdlife right outside the front door. Coming from Norway, this was a truly amazing experience! And the river is so beautiful. Especially when you wake up early in the morning and the mist makes it look so mysterious. Rhonda and Jack are very good hosts, and everything you need is provided. The garden is well maintained for you to enjoy, and inside is very tidy, and have a fully equipped kitchen and two nice bathrooms. Actually we did not do all the sightseeings we were planning for, only to enjoy this place by the river. It was all worth the 14.000 kilometers flight to get here! Thank you 😀

Lovely house in peaceful surroundings. We didn't have the best of weather so was great to sit around in front of the fire playing games, watching movies and sitting on the deck looking at the countryside. Lunch at the local pub was very good. I would recommend Karens place for anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing break away in the country.

We had a wonderful 3 day stay with family and friends to share an 80 th birthday. Our ages ranged from 1 year old to 80 and all ages in between and everyone had a wonderful time. The kitchen with its cooking facilities, crockery, cutlery, glassware etc. was everything we needed and more. The pizza oven was a treat as was the BBQ. The children loved the well stocked dress up box, the spa and the grounds for running around and being active. The pool table and table tennis were well used and there were many cosy areas to sit and chat or have quiet time. The train was very cosy and the beds so comfortable. Those who camped enjoyed the shady area under the macedamia trees. There were so many quirky, interesting additions and decorative features to the various areas especially the Irish Pub which was a popular venue for nightly games. We would recommend this accommodation and venue wholeheartdely. The hosts are very welcoming and always responsive. Thank you.

Absolutely magical stay, we didn’t want to leave. Such a beautiful space that had everything we needed! The beds were incredibly comfortable, the kids loved the pool, kitchen was really well equipped and the location was perfect for us as we had a wedding right around the corner. 5 mins from the beach and cafes too. Will hopefully be back for another weekend stay soon!

Had a wonderful stay at Carmen’s residence in Cairns in early June. The residence is located about 25 minutes the airport by car as well as the center of town and the marina where you can catch boats for excursions. So, you’ll need to drive or rent a taxi/Uber. The house is located Inside a gated community estate and there’s a code that you’ll need to give any arriving taxis. The treehouse itself was absolutely gorgeous, with three floors, multiple rooms, a pool, and surrounded by lush greenery. It felt like we were in a forest! If you’re adventurous, you can even take a private path to the beach and nearby cafes—but be warned, it can be treacherous! Overall, this was a great find. And our hosts were proactive with messages and suggestions that were quite helpful. The only regret we have is that we didn’t get to spend MORE time here!

This place is a true slice of paradise! The villa is pristine, luxurious, well equipped kitchen, all mod cons you’d ever need, stunning tropical garden and literally o can find no fault! It is our second time staying here, and we booked for next year even before we left this time! This place will be our family tradition holiday home we visit every year. 10/10 excellent

The hosts were really helpful and very responsive to my messages. The bnb was so lovely and clean and they even offered for us to check in early. Would highly recommend and will definitely be staying there if in casino again.

My third stay at Bron and Norberts place!. Peaceful and beautiful location, both friendly, knowledgable people. Great pool, & cafe nearby is great too. Everything U need for basic self catering in the kitchen, and the fridge is cold. Always appreciate their welcome touches - eggs, bread milk etc. curious adolescent cassowary passes through regularly. Highly recommend, I had a wonderful stay😊

Beautiful and big house with ample space and rooms for 2 families of 4 adults and 4 children! We enjoyed the movie theatre room and fully equipped kitchen and bbq area! Responsive host and overall great enjoyable stay! 😄😂

What an amazing place, we had such a fun time! The views are amazing, lovely plunge pool to cool off when it got hot overlooking the rainforest. Pool table and darts to keep us all entertained in the evening. Enough hammocks, swing chairs and couches for everyone to find a spot to relax. Plenty of wildlife about, lots of new critters us Melbournians had never seen before, our 7 year old loved it! We went and explored a few things while we were here but we could have honestly just as easily spent the entire time just enjoying ourselves at the property. Absolutely a little slice of paradise Dean has created, also props to him for his communication and making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves.

Loved my stay here! A well appointed guest-room, including a great spa bath, separate kitchen/dining area, within a very short distance to the beachfront, cafes & shops. I highly recommend, and would definitely return to Reef Retreat if ever up this way again.

Ellen, thank you for such a wonderful, relaxed stay. Your attention to detail was first class. The added touch of fresh bread, cookies, breakfast pre-prepared, milk in the fridge....the list goes on. We noted the beautiful Sheridan bedding and gorgeous white Sheridan towels which are our favourite brand. This beautiful cottage is lovely and cosy and the surrounding gardens are picturesque. It was quite cool during our stay, but the heating from the air conditioning and electric blanket was the perfect remedy. We also had a lovely time in Bangalow, which has an abundance of charm and many specialty shops, with great places to eat which are all within walking distance of the cottage.
