Chalet holiday rentals in Deep Creek Lake

Our family of four and dog really enjoyed Tina and Robert’s Kendall Retreat. We stayed for 6 days and would have stayed longer if we could. Fun little area to explore, and their guidebooks are super helpful and spot on. The house was clean, space was perfect for us, and we loved enjoying the deck, fireplace, view and cooking in the beautiful kitchen. Ping pong and game system were added bonuses. Lots to do in the area in spring. Hiking, arcades/tracks, breweries, fun restaurants and also exploring the trails around the house. Would go back!

The house is beautiful in a private area with a lot of natural light. Host was responsive if needed. Not far from Main Road to get to things to do. Friends that came with me are considering coming back to the same house.

Amazing house within 10 minutes of wisp which is why we came and we had an absolute blast!! Will definitely book again!

Chalet was a great getaway spot for a few days for an annual fishing trip. Every detail was perfect for us, had everything you could think of and thoroughly thought through the details to make sure you had all amenities needed. Grounds were also beautiful. People mention trains in their reviews but honestly didn’t mind it one bit, if you wanted they even had ear plugs in each room. Almost Heaven! Perfect home, perfect location for a family get-together. Bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortable and all needs will be met. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. Just bring food! The lake is crystal clear and beautiful, and tall trees cover the landscape. The deer, chipmunks, squirrels and birds are right outside the door. The firepit was our evening spot to gather and chat. And toast marshmallows. And even though the kids are in their 40's, they made s'mores! This is a place to revive your soul. I could stay here forever.

Location was absolutely perfect for us. Close enough to everything, but with a private feel. House felt bigger than the pictures, which was a pleasant surprise! Loved having the basement floor for our boys to have their own sense of privacy as well. Would come back again 100%!

Highly recommend!!!! Definitely now it is my favorite house in the area. Looking to comeback soon. Very clean house!!! Great for get away vacation. . Games, hot tub, sauna, fire pit. Amazing balcony view . Good WiFi signal it was easy to work. Thanks for the restaurant recommendation.

We had a very peaceful stay at this rental home—just as described, and perfect for a relaxing recharge. It’s a great spot for a family getaway, and even our dogs loved it. Highly recommend!

Our 8-person group included older parents, as well as two kids <10, during the most off-season month at Deep Creek, when many area attractions were closed. Along with some stormy spring weather, that meant we were spending a good amount of our trip in the house. And we had an amazing time there. The kids loved the arcade machine, foosball & ping pong table, puzzles, board games and the big TV was great for movies and ballgames in front of the warm fireplace. The grill, firepit and hot tub were easy to use and in great condition - it was reassuring to see the contracted hot tub company come for routine maintenance, indicating it was clean & safe. And the view! We ate at the dining table and gazed out over the lake and hills. The kitchen had all we needed to cook for everyone. Beds/baths were comfy and it was nice to have a set on each floor - our families could have our own spaces, and my parents could stay on the 1st floor to avoid stairs. We loved the house and hope to return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bearly Believable. The hot tub was a big hit with the kids. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of dishware and glasses. Really good location, easy to get to the grocery store and park (which our dog loved.) Our first trip to Deep Creek Lake was great.

Our stay was so amazing and memorable! Hosts were extremely helpful and communicative every step of the way. Very much felt safe and comfortable like a home. What a beautiful property and the woods surrounding was a sight of its own. Hoping to rent from them again in the future!

We stayed here with 3 different families, each family was able to take a different floor for sleeping. We had 4 kids under 5 years old and they all slept great. The house blocked sound so well. We had a great time staying here. The weather was a mix of sun and rain and kind of chilly and we had plenty to do and space at the house for the kids. We all enjoyed our stay! Heather and Michael responded quickly to any questions we had and were very accommodating. I would definitely recommend their place for a stay.

Wonderful location. Loved the hot tub. Plenty of utensils provided in the kitchen.

This was a great place to stay for a weekend fishing trip. The private slip and the great location on the waterfront was perfect. My brothers and I ended up catching 7 different species of fish, including several chain pickerel near the dock. Larry is a really friendly host, provides a ton of information about the area, and was always happy to offer up suggestions!

Jerry was an incredible host. He was very helpful and his home is nice and cozy. We loved every second of our stay. The dock was so beautiful. The home is even nicer in person. And the price is so affordable. We loved our stay. Thanks so much for the wonderful trip Jerry!

This house felt like home from the second we walked in. Great location, walkable bars and restaurants, great dock, and just a wonderful place to escape to. Melanie was so kind and helpful, we can’t say enough great things about this experience. We will be back for sure!

Cabin and location is in a prime location right on the lake. My family went there on a weekend that was snowy, rainy, dreary. We could not do outdoor activities, so we drove to Walmart ordered food and had an amazing weekend in the cabin. Ample space, stocked kitchen, clean bathrooms, pool table, plethora of games, large dining room table where we had a ball! Very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, made for great pictures. Paul is an incredible host. Responsive, honest, reliable. I highly rec this location and my family and I will return.

We loved our stay here! The house was super clean when we arrived and all of the wonderful extra touches (cornhole horseshoes, park pass,etc) were easy to find. Location was great and a short drive to restaurants and Swallow Falls. Would definitely return again
