We are so thankful to Jason and his family for sharing their special place with us. We immediately felt right at home and had more than enough room for all 3 adults. We were immediately blown away with the breathtaking river right in the front yard! We never saw anyone else on the river the whole trip so it felt like we had it all to ourselves too. We started our day listening to the river while drinking coffee on their beautiful deck. And, then later in the day, we enjoyed tubing down the river, leaving from a nearby bridge and ending the trip back at the property. I have a service dog, named Charlie, that did everything with us too (including floating down the river) and I think he enjoyed it as much, or more, than we did too. We wish we had made the trip a little longer because we never got a chance to use the hot tub on the deck, or the fire pit, etc. We hope Jason’s family will have us again because we’re already dreaming about coming back again next summer!

Ren’s place was awesome! The house is secluded enough to feel liek you’re away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but not super off the beaten path. Ren was super friendly as well and provided good instructions for getting to and from the house. The hot tub was really nice as well and didn’t require a bunch of steps to use. Would definitely go back for a weekend away trip!

We were looking for waterfalls and hiking. Phil's place was in the perfect location to find numerous opportunities for both. The cabin itself was well outfitted, comfortable and spacious for the four of us. Loved the hot tub, grill, and fire pit. Phil and Tracy were very responsive and great with communication both before and during our stay. It was cold for a June date and we had an issue with the furnace. Phil and Tracy were so helpful even to the point of coming to check it and getting a repairman there in short order.

absolutely amazing. Beautiful place, we had a great stay. Lisa was super helpful and great communication considering it was last minute. We will definitely be back for a longer stay.

Barefoot Chalet is wonderful +++. The location is perfect and private. The amenities couldn't have been better. Perfectly clean, quiet and very well priced. I highly recommend you put this on your visit list.

This place was very nice. The views were absolutely awesome! One of our favorite things was sitting in the chairs right next to the hummingbird feeder. It was really fun to watch!

Went here for our anniversary and it did not disappoint! Beautiful cabin that was very clean and cozy! Will definitely look into booking again in the future!

The place had everything we needed and had two outdoor spaces to enjoy which we value in an Airbnb. A touch less private than I expected, I’d say, and lawn work noise throughout the Saturday we were there (no fault of the host!). But it was definitely clean, comfy, had a well-equipped kitchen with a blender/full-sized coffee maker/good knives, and was a great deal. Holly was also very kind to extend our reservation a day due to a family emergency.

This was a great place to stay! We visited with our 1.5 year old and our golden retriever, and we have no complaints! Our entire stay was very baby and dog friendly! You are walking distance from a beach and kid-friendly park. You are also a quick drive or bike away from down-town shops and more beaches. The location itself has a nice privacy fence, so we felt safe with our toddler and it was more private compared to comparable places nearby. There were dog treats and a dog bowl ready for our doggo as well, which was much appreciated. Would recommend!

We loved our stay! The location was so peaceful, private, and had stunning views! The hot tub wasn’t working the first night we were there and the owner was very responsive and had it fixed the next day. It is close to downtown and there is so much to see and do in the downtown area. Close to wineries and hiking trails. The kitchen was well stocked. Air conditioner worked great and the top bedroom has a wall unit which was perfect since it gets hot up there without it. The game room downstairs was fun as well! Definitely recommend and will be back!

This place was absolutely awesome! We had a group of 10 girls and all fit very comfortably in the house. Everything was super clean and tidy! The beds were extremely comfortable and the linens were very clean too. Parking was super easy, we had a couple girls park at the pool listed and had no issues. Overall highly recommend for a group of 10!

Danielle and Ben were excellent hosts and their guide was really helpful and informative for us who had never been to Vermont or the area! We really enjoyed spending time in the location and it was only made better by returning to their beautiful and peaceful home. The place is even better than the pictures, everything was exactly as described, and we had plenty of spaces to choose from for alone time and gathering time with our group. Danielle and Ben remained communicative throughout and proactive with info we needed for check-in. We will certainly be back to Vermont and we know exactly the place to go for the most elevated and serene experience possible. Thank you!!

It was remote compared to the graduation we were attending in the area but we all felt worth the distance. Very comfortable, incredibly clean, well designed house. We had freezing weather so were not able to use the deck or fire pit area. Thank you, Michelle!

We had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend at Edward’s place in the Catskills. The home is an architectural gem—beautiful, relaxing, and perfectly immersed in nature. It’s in a great location near restaurants and hiking, and also worked really well for a remote work day. Edward was incredibly helpful and responsive, and our whole family—from kids to grandparents—had a fantastic time.

The photos don’t even begin to do this place justice! There’s so much beautiful greenery and places to safely wander with friends on the property. There’s a few sweet towns and spots to check out nearby as well. We had a great time with the treehouse and enjoyed the beautiful backyard. It rained a few days we were staying, but the house was perfectly cozy for us and it didn’t feel like we were missing out on anything. This place is amazing!

I may be slightly biased in my regard for the incredibleness of this cabin, as this is where my soon-to-be-husband proposed(!!!!), but it was a fantastic getaway. Incredible views are available from the kitchen, main living space, upstairs loft, and lower level (including the hot tub). Great access to nearby trails for quick hikes, and we took a morning trip to Warm Springs to visit the Omni Homestead Warm Springs, which was well worth the trip! You won't have ANY cellphone service, so be prepared to be unplugged from the world. Lauren was responsive for check-in needs and other questions/support. I am so glad we got to spend time with friends and family at this lodge!

Great place to stay!

This place was amazing! We had such an amazing time here and it was so relaxing and peaceful! Although this was a populated neighborhood while we were staying, we had so much peace and quiet, and were able to relax the whole vacation! So many places within a 20 min driving distance, great restaurants, and we LOVED staying on the lake! The house was clean and beautiful! Patti was very responsive and helpful in answering all my questions during our stay, we will absolutely stay again:))

Our family of 6 had no trouble stretching out and relaxing in this chalet. They think of everything here and provide all of the essentials needed. We loved our stay in Innsbrook and especially Ella’s Roost with the early check in and late check out!! You get so much extra time that way. Our kids loved fishing off the deck in back and bonfires at night. We had so many encounters with the friendly deer and even had a baby deer sleep overnight in the yard. Innsbrook was a lovely, secluded, community with a ton of amenities to explore and felt like we still missed out on exploring more. We had some great weather in our time there. Note, probably obvious to some, but we picked up some ticks on us after one of our nature walks (Meadows Hiking Trail seemed to be the culprit). Just be careful and check when you’re done!

We loved Carrie's place on the lake! Highlights were camp fires, fishing, meals on the deck and family time. I did bring food, and supplemented a few things from the DG Market for our group of 8. Thanks Carrie!

Sandy and Rick were great hosts! Rick gave us some great food and activity recommendations. You feel at home when you walk into the house. The outside deck and screened porch are great for listening to the birds, taking in the beautiful river and just relaxing. You have everything you need to enjoy your stay

Lovely setting on the lake; felt like living a dream while looking out the oversized windows. Chalet was definitely a welcoming location with overall home design and plot privacy. A remarkable stay to be sure!

We had the most amazing stay over Memorial Day weekend! The home was perfectly located right by the water, offering beautiful views and peaceful vibes throughout our trip. It was the ideal spot to relax and recharge. We brought our dog, Bruno, and he absolutely loved it too—lots of space to explore and enjoy the outdoors. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a stress-free getaway. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a serene waterfront escape, especially if you’re bringing your pup along!

very good communication from the host which was very much appreciated. the location and house were wonderful. me and my husband loved our stay and would go back if given the chance.
