The Back 40

DanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had an absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful Airbnb during our bourbon hunting trip in Kentucky. The location couldn’t have been more perfect—less than 30 minutes from both Buffalo Trace and downtown Louisville, which made our bourbon adventures super convenient. The property itself was spotless and incredibly comfortable. One of the highlights was the huge covered deck, which became our sanctuary during a rainy day. We spent hours out there just relaxing, listening to the peaceful sounds of the tranquil creek that flows right in front of the deck. It was like something out of a postcard. Nature lovers will feel right at home here. We saw plenty of deer, hawks soaring above, and even a small herd of cattle that strolled by at nearly the same time each evening—like clockwork! It added such a unique charm to the whole experience. We also made full use of the kitchen and grill, cooking up some delicious local beef while sipping on bourbon in the serene countryside setting. Spacious suite, country views, pool table, firepit

Loved staying at Kelly's place!! It was so beautiful, I spent as much time as I could on the covered patio! Beautiful garden and yard that was so peaceful.... Kelly thought of most everything and provided a very good system of how things should be done. She was kind and checked in to ensure my needs were met. Horse, cow & sheep country was enchanting.... I would absolutely stay in Kelly's place again! Susan

River retreat

KaitlynnRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lauren’s home was extraordinary. The view overlooking the river was gorgeous. The patio and even the neighborhood cat were some of our favorite memories. The house itself was spotless and so inviting. My only regret was I didn’t book a longer stay! All her recommendations were spot on. There was so much to experience within a 15-20 minute radius. We most definitely will be staying here again.

*Long Pour: Your Luxury Downtown Bourbon Home*

AnnRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Long Pour was an amazing place to stay while in Frankfort. The decor was perfectly curated for the Bourbon Trail. Lauren provided everything we needed and more: Buffalo Trace coffee, tea, robes, face masks, just to name a few. The beds were comfortable with nice linens and towels. It was very walkable to restaurants and bars. Would highly recommend for a memorable stay.

Little Blue Cottage on Main Street, La Grange KY

TriciaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
The Little Blue Cottage was just the peaceful, comfortable place we needed. On the edge of town with private parking. The place just feels like home from the moment you arrive. The people in La Grange are so welcoming and helpful. The shops are adorable. The cottage has a nice tree overhanging it so on a humid day, the porch is still comfortable. We came for the trains and CSX delivered! Watching them from the porch and throughout town was a different experience. Into trains or not, check out the Train museum. Lots of local history too. The town itself does events throughout the year so visit the Welcome Center right next door for a schedule, a map of town and even free goodies! Want even more of a KY experience? Arrive the day the cicadas come out like we did. We like insects so it just added to the experience! We will be back!

Bourbon Trail Country Getaway

CrystalRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Absolutely stunning home. All the cozyness of an old farmhouse but with all of the modern amenities we love. Beds were very comfortable. Everything was beautifully decorated including the exterior landscaping the blue and green color scheme was very warm and inviting. House is in such a peaceful area but close to both Lexington and Louisville. We loved sitting on the front porch in the rocking chairs drinking coffee. We would definitely choose this house again.
