Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Delta

Had a great stay at this Airbnb. We had a whole family trip with children and elderly grandmother and the place was perfect with a bedroom downstairs as well as 2 bedrooms upstairs. Easy access to Little Italy and it wasn’t too hard to find parking even with a festival going on that weekend. Overall, would highly recommend for a clean spot in a great location!

This is a beautifully appointed Airbnb. The description and photos of the interior don’t adequately capture the peaceful nature of the decor in the house. Interior was perfectly clean. The location was perfect for our needs as it was close to the border. Easy to take a quick trip to Vancouver, BC. Beach access is walking distance. Canal behind the house smelled a little when the tide was all the way in (not something the host can control). Rosanna was very friendly and proactive in reaching out to see if we needed anything (we didn’t). We would definitely stay here again for proximity to the border!

The neighborhood seems to be undergoing some gentrification, but some travelers may feel it’s a bit sketchy. The convenience of the skytrain being so close is great. Leave your car in the driveway and use public transportation. Meg is super responsive and helpful.

My dog Lucy and I had a great stay. It suited us—one adult and a small dog—perfectly. The house isn’t much bigger than a postage stamp, but it is perfectly outfitted and spotless. The best part for us was the fully fenced backyard with a big lawn—plenty of room for Lucy to run around. We loved the propane fire pit. It’s less than a 5 minute walk to the beach, once you figure out the shortcut. This little gem is perfect for one adult and 1-2 smaller companions, whether children or furry friends. Or maybe 2 smaller adults 🙂. Tyler, the host, was on-the-spot responsive. I would certainly rent this home again.

My family came for an impulsive trip to Canada and ended up booking Brianna’s listing last minute. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. There were so many amenities we enjoyed; walking her property by the creek, enjoying the hot tub, playing the Wii as a family, enjoying the fire pit, and watching some shows on Netflix. The space has ample space for everyone to sleep. We enjoyed having a full kitchen, and washer and dryer in unit. The property is close to the store which was nice but secluded enough when you open any door you hear the birds singing. It was just what our family needed to unwind all in one place!

John’s place isn’t cheap, when you compare it to the usual basement Airbnb‘s in the area, but it is worth every penny. You get the whole house to yourself, including a beautiful back porch with comfortable seating and a fire pit, and the whole place is roomy and beautiful and well appointed inside and out. I really can’t think of a single thing that we didn’t love. Even the TV worked well and included a number of streaming services. The bathroom is fantastic, the beds are comfy, and the kitchen is well stocked and wonderful. The espresso maker had plenty of pods, and just too many other details to mention here. The more affordable basement apartments we stayed in in the past usually had uncomfortable furniture and beds, tiny bathrooms, and a damp feeling. This gorgeous house is completely the opposite. And I really don’t think it’s expensive for what you get.

Wonderful place for a getaway! This is a beautiful property with a stunning view of the water. We enjoyed that it was about about 30 minutes from Bellingham which has so many fantastic restaurants. It was very clean, well stocked, and great communication with the host! We would definitely return here.

I'm a woman traveling solo with her service dog, so I'm the kind of traveler who often has to stress and worry about finding accessible accommodations. I'm so lucky I found this spot, it's gorgeous, safe, and 100% walkable area. Her place was so amazing, I booked it again for another stay before I head out of Canada to my next spot in Spain. I'm simply blown away by this host's kindness and friendliness! I even asked them today if they were an angel in disguise. ;-)

Andy and Lydia were fantastic hosts. We felt welcomed and any questions that we had were answered very quickly. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Check in and check out were a breeze thanks to the clear instructions. The area is up and coming, and there are plenty of great spots just a short walk away. It was super close to downtown- easily and safely accessible by car/uber/taxi.

We really enjoyed our stay. Great accommodation and a good location with lots to do in the immediate area.

Great location, within walking distance to tons of restaurants on Main Street and to Riley Park (multiple playgrounds), Nat Bailey Stadium and Hillcrest Aquatic Centre (swimming pool is under maintenance until end of June 2025). Space was clean, bed was comfortable. There was a Pack n Play available. Anthony and Leatt are great hosts, very responsive and go above and beyond to help. Leatt provided a list of kid-friendly restaurants to visit while we are in town. I was also offered allergy medication after they learned that I was having severe allergy symptoms.

Zuzana’s place is charming and beautiful, situated in a stunning neighbourhood at the end of a cul-de-sac. Zuzana herself is a charming and beautiful human, who took great care of us including meeting us when we arrived, leaving us some snacks to welcome us, was a great communicator and even found an item we left behind. There is no question we would stay at Zuzana’s place next time we’re in town for a few days. Thank you for your hospitality, Zuzana!

Beautiful home with all amenities! Comfy space.

The place was very easy to check in with a fob ready for me to use once I entered the unit. Very clean and organized with a beautiful view of grouse mountain and downtown Vancouver. I would definitely stay here again!! Oh yeah good free parking on east Cordova that is visible from the balcony.

Everything was great. Such a private, beautiful, spacious, and tranquil unit. Everything was so clean and easy to use. Great location too and close to the stores. We enjoyed cooking our own meal and bbq grill was provided upon request. The fireplace was amazing and they gave us the firewood and the instructions on how to get the fireplace going. Great memories in this great place and we are thankful for such an amazing and unforgettable experience. Thank you Jamaica and Gord for your hospitality. We’re sure everyone will enjoy their time in this beautiful home away from home

We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend at The Cabin! Shana was a wonderful host and was extremely responsive with whatever questions I had. Her and her husband were so kind to greet us at the cabin and welcome us into their wonderful space! We really enjoyed cooking on the grill and spending time by the fire pit after spending the day exploring the island. It was definitely the reset my partner and I needed. Thank you so much for an amazing stay!

This fully renovated cabin was squeaky clean, cozy and welcoming. All the details and decor made it feel like at home. Kitchen was fully equipped, more than described. You can tell Curt had thought through how to keep the guests comfortable and enjoyable during the stay. Bathroom was bright and spacious with a big bathtub. The bed was superb (slept like a baby), the linens were spotless clean and fresh which was very important to me. I appreciate the space very much. I’ll be back.

I feel so refreshed after staying here and would absolutely recommend a visit to anyone who needs a break. The nature and peace of this home and location is everything. We saw so many amazing birds, I now understand the appeal of birding 😂. So many thoughtful touches and cute decor throughout the home. The views, the hot tub on the deck, heated bathroom floors, throw blankets, fireplaces, the fire pit in the yard etc. we really enjoyed just being here. Our host was the absolute best I have ever encountered. She thought of everything: welcoming snacks, the home was clean and a perfect temperature, she let us know about construction noise on one of our days gave us a discount for that day and a late checkout. We felt so taken care of. Thank you Eden and Allison Elizabeth!

This place was a gem! My partner and I share a birthday so we wanted a quiet place to relax it had everything and more! No detail was spared we couldn't have asked for anything else during our stay! Adorable community with pretty views, hot tub, hammock and fire pit were amazing. All the greenery outside and old growth trees were so relaxing too! PNW experience like no other! It was a lovely place to stay for a weekend! We'll be back for sure! Thank you!

Adam's home is a perfect place for a group. Huge commercial kitchen, pool / fuse ball tables and a large sectional couch for get togethers. Rooms are massive with balconies. Hope to return. Thx, Adam.

The place is very private, comfortable and clean. The beds and linens were good and the kitchen well equipped. I loved sitting on the front steps in the morning sun with my coffee and around the fire at night. I loved that it was tucked away and private, but not in dark trees, like a lot of places on the islands. It was a great place to stay and a dreamy holiday on Galiano.
