Rowesville is 11 minutes from the beautiful Edisto Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg. Orangeburg has many restaurants, Wal-Mart, and a Starbucks near I-26. Columbia is about an hour away. Wildlife Cabin is set in a woodsy setting and was built as extra bedroom for our boys. Originally the cabin had a cute little porch on the front of it, but for privacy and convenience to our guests, we closed in the porch and made it into a small kitchenette. We call it Wildlife Cabin, not because you see so much wildlife. Our boys all liked to hunt, & one tried his hand at preserving the furs, so you will find a collection of wildlife in the cabin. Please be careful with them!

I wish we had more time to enjoy the home and lake. The view was beautiful! I could have fallen asleep on the screen porch when it was raining. It was very peaceful. If you’re ever looking for a laid back place to stay with a lake.. This is the place. You don’t get this in the city. You can walk out of your door and fish from the dock.

We had a wonderful time at Matthew Kevin‘s place. The location was wonderful for us and was right above a cute coffee shop with gluten-free bakery goods some of which were also dairy free which were considerations for two in our party. Very comfortable and quiet location. He was proactive in sending check in instructions and check out. Instructions were especially easy.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful barndominium! The place was spotless, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed with charming touches throughout. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the hammock and sadly we didn’t a chance to enjoy a bonfire—such great amenities that made our stay even more special. When we had an issue with the hot water, the host and her husband were very kind and responsive. They did their best to resolve the problem quickly, and we really appreciated their effort and hospitality. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, cozy getaway!
