Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Derry and Strabane

The house was perfect for us, we needed somewhere that was very local as we were in Derry for our son's 2nd day of wedding celebrations, we could walk everywhere we needed to get to, neighbours were lovely, especially Sasha, the dog on the corner house by the carpark

Kate is super responsive and the space is super lovely, we were given one towel less but Kate replied immediately and got us sorted within 20 mins! Super attentive host and made sure we felt at home (:

We really enjoyed our stay in Derry and it was great coming home to a lovely house every evening,only 15 mins walk from the city. Mairead was a great host,very friendly and attentive. We will definitely book with Mairead again on our next visit to Derry.

Joanne greeted us to walk us through the property and filled us in on local to-do’s. Loved her recommendation for the restaurant, Tank & Skinny’s, in the town of Limavady. Excellent sandwiches/desserts. Very clean and welcoming with tasty goodies (bread,cookies, jam,butter), milk, coffee,and a bottle of wine. The washing machine/drying rack came in handy. Really enjoyed the mini-balcony on the 2nd floor to stargaze. Wow!! What an amazing place set on a rolling countryside road, with high quality construction and finishes. Ask about the cute Austrian sheep up the road, sooooo cute.

We had a lovely stay at Berna's. We are familiar with the area but it's not a difficult place to find, ample onstreet parking although on a main road. It was quiet at night and the property was spacious, exactly like the photos, clean and tidy. It had more than we needed for our long weekend and if you dont have a car, its within walking distance to the town but right on the public transport route too. Berna was on hand if we had any questions and replied promptly. Would stay again, thanks Berna!

Myself and my little family had a great weekend at Berachs place. It was ideal for exploring our beautiful country during the day and chilling out in the evening. Berach was always so kind and reachable. Great local takeaways in the area to eat in comfort with the little ones and a supermarket right across the street!

Had a fantastic stay. Claire messaged to inform us we could have early check in and late check out. Place was so clean, hot tub and sauna was amazing (especially after running ultra). Welcome pack was really appreciated by us all. Great host, location and facilities. Will definitely be back.

This is perfection! Everything about this apartment is as good as you will find anywhere! Sparkling clean. Great location. Comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen. Fresh and comfortable in every way. Be aware the “snug” is on what we in the States would call the 4th floor. For some this may be a factor. However, this 74 y/o had no issue with the wide, well lit stairway with banister and secure steps. Stay here! You will be happy you did!

Catherine's place was in the perfect location for our stay in Derry. We wished to learn about the history of Derry, and it was a great spot to do this. We were able to walk everywhere that we wanted to go within Derry from the apartment. The apartment/townhome was beautiful and very clean. It was the perfect place to have a bit more room to relax mid trip for us. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your place!

Great place, fabulous vibrant decor. We were met shortly after arrival and they were at great pains to ensure we were satisfied and well set up. Easy walk into Derry - bit of a hill on the way back but need to start working off food from the great restaurants! Lots of sights and sobering history to absorb all within walking distance.

Loved this space. It was perfect for our needs—three people for a couple nights only—and perfectly located for seeing all the things I wanted to in Derry and visiting the people I wanted to. Geraldine came over to make sure we knew our way around the place, which I appreciated.

We had a great stay at Eileen’s place. A perfectly clean and comfortable apartment within great distance to local shop and close to main car parks in city centre. No issues at all. Comfortable bed and good WiFi connection.

Great stay in Derry over Halloween. Apartment was ridiculously close to the centre of activities and nothing was too much trouble for Rhonda who went to extra effort to help us with a number of favours. Only tiny complaint was that it was rather noisy but I’m a light sleeper and it was Halloween. Fab apartment and host, highly recommend!

Would stay here again. Easy walk to local attractions. Only caution is the narrow stairs. It’s not a problem for young people.

The apartment was beautiful, spotlessly clean and tidy with everything you could need. The location right on the river was excellent, with a lovely little balcony to sit on to people watch. Access was easy with comprehensive instructions that were easy to follow. We asked for earlier access and Jenny was so friendly and amenable with this, nothing was too much trouble. The apartment is very close to a large Sainsburys and also very easy to walk into the City along the river. There is plenty of parking. Perfect for a stay in beautiful Derry! great location - couldn’t get any more central. mark gave us some info on where was worth going to and checked in to see how we were getting on and if we needed anything. would stay here again it ever in derry.

Gorgeous decor. Everything we needed..Everything was within walking distance. Lovely friendly area and people. Best bit was a cup of tea on the balcony looking at the walls all lit up
