Guesthouse holiday rentals in Deshaies

Directions were translated from French including the neighbours house names which caused confusion with our taxi driver. A more obvious house number would be useful on the busy long road. Nadine was warm and welcoming even though we had very limited French. We had a coffee and honey gift pack which was very welcome. The room was a basic studio but spotless and had everything including a two ring stove top and coffee machine. There was a counter top oven we had assumed from the pics was a microwave, and would have been useful if it was. The bathroom was small and functional- be careful with the hot water as it a solar heated and very hot! The garden and gazebo area was pleasant and we saw iguanas, skinks and lots of birds. Pool was fabulous! Walk to the beach easy, walk to Deshaies OK but avoid it at night as very few street lights. All beach restaurants shut in the evenings. During the day it’s advisable to book lunch anywhere. Food outlets limited at night without a car rental.

Very pleasant, clean and functional accommodation. Close to the sea. The outdoor living room is very nice with big cousins and fans. Warm welcome.

Excellent stay in Marie Galante. The accommodation is great with a very nice view. We enjoyed the place which is very quiet where we could watch the small hummingbirds pick up the nectar from the flowers of the garden. A great place to relax and enjoy the most beautiful white sand beaches we could see. Well equipped, we did not miss anything.

Very nice accommodation, very clean and very comfortable, with a beautiful sea view from the terrace. Close to shops and beautiful blond sandy beaches. Very warm welcome from Nadine and Paul, very gracious hosts and very attentive to their visitors. We would not hesitate to stay with them again. Really, a very pleasant stay, too short!

Great stay! We were hosted very well by Ghislaine and Jocelyn who are available and warm hosts while remaining very discreet. The cottage is quiet but close to amenities. We enjoyed the pool, the quality of the bedding and the terrace with a very nice view. We recommend the cottage without a second thought!

Very good stay with Verene. A real little piece of paradise nestled in the top of Guadeloupe, with a view of the sea. The awakening to the singing of the roosters sets the tone: nature, calm and total change of scenery. Special mention for breakfast on the Leroux terrace, where the "chocolate breads" brioche way are a delicious surprise. An address to remember to recharge your batteries easily! Thank you Vérène

We were fortunate enough to be welcomed by Hervé, Isabelle's husband. The latter was warm, friendly, and welcoming for the duration of the stay. He was also able to give good recommendations. A true caretaker angel! We arrived in Guadeloupe late at night, tired and untapped, only to discover that the house we had rented on Booking was a scam. In panic, I wrote to several people on Airbnb desperately looking for a solution, and the only one who responded with kindness and availability was Josefine. She and the owners welcomed us with great warmth, guiding us step by step on how to get to the house and offering us a safe retreat when we needed it most. The house itself is very characteristic, cozy and attention to detail, perfect for those looking for a pleasant and serene stay. We can only highly recommend this place to anyone! I would highly recommend this listing! It's close to the water. The landscape is worthy of a postcard, it feels good right away. Plus, the feeling with our host passed from the start! He was very attentive and guided us in our choice of visits. I will definitely recommend this guesthouse to those around me. I'll just suggest a newer coffee machine for like breakfast, but that's just a detail.

We had a great time, to the point that the next one is already planned. Franck is very responsive and the apartment is well equipped. We had the pleasure of being surrounded by Nala and Bella who brightened up our stay.

There was also a yellow alert during our stay (we were not aware) and Laurence took care to notify us and give us updates on this. Unforgettable stay at Marcette and Luc's! The apartment and the pool were great! The setting with the vegetation was great! A little haven of peace where it's good to live! You can go there with your eyes closed! The location in the heights of Saint Anne is great! You are close to all amenities! The best thing about this magical place is these hosts who are very welcoming people, with a rare kindness and the pleasure of sharing their culture, their gastronomy, their knowledge.
