Such a perfect get away for my husbands 30th bday! The backyard is so perfect for a great sunny summer day! The beds are super comfy too!

The only thing I would improve is a garbage can by the sink. Absolutely stunning place. Peaceful, quiet, unbelievable sunsets and sunrises. Spotless. Point Pelée park is mere 3 minutes away. I enjoyed every second.

Beautiful location, loved the facilities especially the hot tub. Sumudu was really helpful when we couldn’t get in and when we left an item at the cottage. Excellent host.

We recently stayed at this beautiful cottage on the lake, and it was truly the perfect escape. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the host had thought of everything. The cottage was very clean , cozy, and fully stocked with all the essentials—and then some. Fresh linens, kitchen supplies, firewood, even board games and snacks were waiting for us. The view of the lake was stunning, especially at sunrise. We spent our days enjoying meals on the deck while watching the water. In the evenings, we relaxed by the fire pit We didn’t have to worry about a single thing the whole time we were there—it really felt like a home away from home.

We loved our stay at the cottage. It was peaceful and had all required amenities and we enjoyed. We would want to visit again once in summer.

This place is an oasis!! It has a stunning view, great deck to sit on, is spotless and feels just like home! The beds were downy and the sheets incredibly soft, I didn't want to get up! But the view pulls you to explore! The cottage has absolutely everything you could want, in terms of kitchen and bath set-up, a huge TV and hot tub. The host is so lovely, responsive, helpful and kind! You couldn't ask for anything better! Truly a gem!

Sarah & Joes place , Chardonnay Bay was perfect for a little getaway. They were very friendly , and always responded promptly. The instructions made finding it and checking in a breeze. The home was spotless and very well equipped. The bed was comfy with all the linens and towels and comforts of home. A very short walk to the quiet cute beach , and a great local restaurant/ bar - the wreck. Would stay again and would recommend to anyone. Thanks for everything!

Everything about this cottage was exactly what we were hoping for. It was right on the water and the sunsets were amazing. Very clean and everything we needed in the kitchen bathroom and bedrooms. Very comfortable and we loved the sunroom! The grounds were well kept too. And it was in close proximity to the ferry to Pelee Island and Point Pelee national park. I’ve already recommended this place to friends. We will definitely book this again if we are in that area in the future.

Rosanne's home was perfect for our family. It's situated with a beautiful and peaceful view that both the humans and dogs enjoyed 😉

Wonderful stay in this space! Everything was exactly as described, and the water views from the bedrooms were lovely. Bright, open, and inviting space. Well stocked kitchen and linens. Loved the kayaks, and the fire pit - so nice that dry firewood was included. We don’t make use of the game room, as the weather was perfect for relaxing outside, but it looks like a lot of fun! Very clear instructions, and friendly and responsive hosts. Would definitely stay here again!

The explanation of how to check in, what to expect, what anemities were available, what to bring, and even what to prepare for- down to the details of what to expect that month, or season was fabulous! In our circumstances, having rented the cottage while our home was under construction, Tim was phenomenal in responding quickly and ever so helpful! can't wait to go back again! I highly recommend staying here!

House was exactly what the listing showed and description was. The house sits on channel that goes to Lake Erie. Neighbors were great and easy to talk to. I would highly recommend this one bedroom place for a getaway. it is on a private road.

Jessica’s listing was great! This was our first time in Detroit and it was so close to everything we needed while being away from the hustle. The fully stocked kitchen was great! We were able to make dinner after coming home from a long day at a music fest and not rely on fast food. Thanks for our stay!

We loved our stay. Very close to Point Pelee National Park. The park pass came in handy for birding each day. (We got to skip the queue with the pass). We loved the cozy feel of the living room with the gas fireplace. Nice to sit out on the dock and soak up the afternoon sun.

We had a fantastic stay at this lake house! The host was incredibly responsive and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. The view of the lake was absolutely spectacular—perfect for relaxing mornings and peaceful evenings. We had a lovely stay at Bustersplace! It was close to beautiful wineries, local shops and restaurants and the beach just as described. The house was beautifully decorated and very comfortable! We enjoyed cooking on the grill, playing bocci ball in the backyard and relaxing with a movie at the end of the day. Kingsville was a great addition to our vacation and this home was the perfect place to stay!

Very beautiful location. Gorgeous water views and near restaurants, park, and ferry. Was a little overwhelmed by the fish flies when we arrived. They were everywhere- sticking to everything- and we did not know about their abundance this time of year. It made it difficult to sit outside and relax. Other than that, the place was comfortable and has everything you need for a lakeside stay.

Keith made check in easy and straightforward. His cottage is clean, with an open layout. The sun porch is large and gorgeous, facing a nice sandy beach and spectacular views of the lake (there is even a tv and swing on the porch!). The living room is very open, with huge windows facing the lake and beautiful sunlights. It was a very comfortable stay. The set up really makes you feel at home. Even though the cottage is pet-friendly, it is very clean and there is no pet odour! He includes helpful information when you arrive, including a helpful map of the island, marked with the locations of important and recommended places on Pelee. He even has a fun scavenger hunt to help you get to know the cottage and the island! The cottage is in a nice part of the island, near the lighthouse and not far from the snack bars in Scutter. Keith quickly responded to our questions and was available if we had anything to ask. It was an all-around great experience with an excellent host. Thanks Keith!

We’ve been coming to Oxley Beach House for years and it feels like a home away from home. Clear communication, comfortable accommodations, beautiful property with beach access. We love it here!

We had a great stay. Being on the lake was just perfect. Our neighbors were quiet and the sleeping spaces worked well for us. Beds were comfortable and the living room space was big. Can’t wait to come back.

The place is just by the lake and has private access to the lake. It is perfect for relaxing.
