Family-friendly holiday rentals in Dickinson

Thanks for a very comfortable stay @ your Airbnb. Would recommend it to anyone who visits Houston.The place is ideally located, within walking distance of the restaurants and shops. Having a Garage and laundry facility was super helpful . Trent is very responsive. We had a plumbing issue. Trent fixed it at the earliest. Thank you Trent for an enjoyable experience.

Great place for two families with toddlers to spend a long weekend! The view from the balcony was great, and the pool and the lazy river were a ton of fun. The room itself was good for a long weekend, but it might have felt a little cramped if the stay was much longer than that. Overall, we really enjoyed this place and will definitely consider it for our next trip to Galveston!

Very comfortable lodging, close to the beach. We enjoyed the condo pool and hot tub, too. All very clean and accommodating.

The condo is nicely decorated and appointed. It has like new appliances in the kitchen and all of the utensils and kitchenware were nice and clean. It even has throw blankets and games to play if you forget to pack them like we did. The pool and grounds were enjoyable and the seawall beach is easily walkable. If you’re looking for a beach with more room it is only a short drive either direction. Moody gardens and Schlitterbahn are only a few minutes away. It is a great location.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was our first family vacation with our toddler. Everything went smoothly and we were able to create great memories. Gary & Anna were very responsive and helpful!

loved our stay. the house easily accommodated 3 generations with different interests. the bedrooms were a good size and the open living/dining area made it easy to gather. the hot tub was a huge hit with everyone and the outdoor shower made it easy to get the sand off. Great house!

Such a great place. I stayed there with 3 other moms for a girls weekend! The house was super cute and clean. A short walk to the beach and a jacuzzi! Beds were very comfortable! Kitchen had everything we needed and more! Very relaxing! We had a great time and highly recommend!

We loved staying at the Flip Flop Flamingo. It was in a quiet residential neighborhood, but very close to downtown, the Strand, and just a few blocks from the beach. It was just the right size for us. It had plenty of charm with updates to make it comfortable. I'd stay again and would reccomend it to friends!

We absolutely loved our stay here! This was one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in. The kitchen was fully stocked, the air worked perfect (this is a big deal in Galveston, I haven’t stayed in many where the house was cool the entire stay) and the hot water seemed to be never ending which was great with 4 teenage girls. We enjoyed kayaking, playing pickleball, and sitting out on the deck at night. The neighbors are super friendly and everyone is so welcoming. Can’t wait to go back!

Gloria’s place was absolutely wonderful. Highly recomend. Exactly as described. She responded quickly. Everything was great. The beds were all comfortable. The showers were great. TVs worked great. We cooked a lot and found the kitchen more than adequate. Plenty of dishes and flatware. We had our son and 4 grandkids plus our granddaughter’s friend. There was plenty of space for all 8 of us. We were close to the beach and close to all the attractions in Galveston. The out door hose allowed us to rinse off and keep most of the sand outside. Loved having the washer and dryer too! Would definitely come again. Book it before it’s gone!! Great price!!

I am a beach girl with a large family ranging from toddler to elderly. Every year I plan our family annual beach vacation the Tuesday after Memorial Day. This beach cabin was quaint, just enough not too fancy for my family. By FAR MY FAVORITE in over 15 years! The view was spectacular! The little path to the beach lined with yellow buttercups. The double decks provided family in great chairs in the evening conversing . Brown pelicans soared above us in lines. We fed seagulls from the deck. We could wave at the grandchildren from the deck. The ships lined up to the port of Galveston and twinkled in the night. Gorgeous The salt air and the sounds of the waves from the deck could not be replicated. The second deck my husband and I would sneak away and drink coffee. Every bedroom had a TV. We made gumbo to salads no lack of utensils or pans. It felt like home.

the place was perfect for what we wanted! quiet and so close to the beach! plenty of linens and the beds were comfy. lots of parking and loved the outdoor shower.

It was a great time. We asked to come at an earlier time and check out later with no problems. Great place to stay and great area.

Great place to stay. Felt right at home. Beautiful home and gated yard, which was great for our dog. The owner even had extra things for us when we arrived which was so sweet. We will definitely be staying there again when we come back to Houston.

Host was great. Communicated quickly and made the process seamless. This home is close to A LOT of shops and restaurants. It also has a detached fenced area where dogs can play. It is also located in a very beautiful and quiet neighborhood. We felt safe the whole time we were there. I would highly recommend it.

Great place to stay! We walked to the beach every day that we were there. It was really helpful that they had beach towels and chairs for us to use. Very responsive when I had anything that needed tended to! would stay again!

Absolutely adored the place....well decorated, well maintained and very clean...was loaded with amenities and everything needed for comfort and feel at home. The shower was hot as I like and bed very comfortable. I brought my own white noise machine but did not need it because one was already provided. The hostess was very attentive and prompt with responding. The views of beach was therapeutic and amazing. Casa Del Mar staff was very friendly and professional. My husband and I spent 8 days in Galveston and it was perfect.

Wow! What an incredible place and an incredible host. We've stayed at over 30 Airbnbs and this is the only host that has gone this above and beyond - stocking the kitchen in anticipation of our Thanksgiving feast, a doggie basket with toys for our pups, a gorgeous pecan dessert and yummy pasta/sauce on the kitchen table, a zoom call to welcome us and to find out what else we needed (she ordered us more kitchen utensils & a fan from Target). The home feels like a home. Super clean, lots of character - high ceilings, lovely woodwork, lots of light, a sweet fully fenced in yard, and large comfy bedrooms. There are two bathrooms but everyone ends up using 1 upstairs as their main bathroom since it's the one with a shower - not an issue for us just FYI. The neighborhood is super walkable - so many gorgeous homes on every block. Easy to get to the Strand, beach and Broadway. Two thumbs way up for people with or without dogs! Simply amazing. The host was outstanding—friendly, responsive, and genuinely committed to making sure I had a great visit. The location was perfect—close to everything I needed, yet quiet and peaceful for a good night’s sleep. I couldn’t have asked for a better home away from home.
