The Granary, Corfton, Shropshire

FionaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We have just got home after a delightful weekend stay at the Granary hosted by Clare & Alex. We were in the area for the 'Springtime in Shropshire' orienteering weekend so arrived at the Granary after the first race in the evening. The directions were good and specific and we were able to get the keys out of the key safe and get straight in. The house was lovely, nicer than the pictures and equipped with everything we needed. Immaculate bathroom and lots of piping hot water. Although the weather was a little blustery we even got to sit outside for a little while on Sunday afternoon after the race before we went inside to cook dinner and relax in front of the TV. Overall, a lovely place to stay, we had a great weekend. Many thanks.

One of the best appointed places we have ever staid , kitted out to live in , not just to rent out. Don't be out off it's on a country lane , it was so peaceful , I guess three cars passed in our entire stay. lovely private garden and a very friendly responsive host. Easy access Church Stretton , Ludlow etc

Stable house with Stunning Views

HelenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What a find! The property is very well equipped and comfortable with beautiful views from the big windows. It was lovely to go to sleep to the sound of owls and to wake to birdsong and sheep. Megan was the perfect host, with thoughtful and useful communication. We’d love to come back!

Cosy Romantic Cottage Hide Away Ludlow Shropshire

JosephRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Victory Cottage was a really cozy and wonderful place to spend a few days exploring Ludlow and the surrounding Shropshire area. It's a short (25 min) walk away from the centre of Ludlow, and a 30 minute drive from Church Stretton and the Long Mynd. The cottage is really comfortable and beautifully decorated, and we loved relaxing on the sofa every night after a day's exploring. The cottage is actually even better than the pictures - the bedroom is spacious, the kitchen is really well equipped, and we enjoyed having breakfast in the sunny conservatory at the front of the house. Despite being next to the pub and on a main road, it was quiet and peaceful - a private getaway! Anne was a great host, and even lit the fire before we arrived, which was so welcoming. We highly recommend Victory Cottage to anyone.

Off-grid living, high in the Shropshire Hills

JodieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing, nature-filled weekend at Julian's place. We were both able to fully switch off for the first time in ages! The gardens are beautiful and we felt fully immersed into nature, enjoying all the flowers, bees and even did some bird watching. Stan (the friendliest dog in the world) came for a mooch, which only made our stay more enjoyable. We also made friends with Trev the cat - who we already miss now we're home 😂. Julian and Suzie are friendly, knowledgeable hosts. They're super relaxed and made us feel right at home. We had everything we needed and the decor of the place is just perfect (we now want to paint all our walls butter yellow!) We found the property easily using "What 3 Words" Julian recommended a walk nearby, down the valley and to a lovely pub called The Bridges (approx 5k away). Saw some cute animals on the way and beautiful countryside. What's not to like? Would absolutely stay here again, special mention to Stan and Trev!

The Old Stable

GillRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Wow! - what an absolute gem. The Old Stable was the most idyllic, relaxing place to stay. James made us feel so welcome and was so helpful, giving great local pub/restaurant recommendations. We also asked for recommendations for walks in the area, which James was very knowledgeable about. We had such a wonderful time and would highly recommend this lovely place. We will definitely be back.

A Rural Escape

Our stay here was incredible, the pictures don’t do it justice! It was immaculate and really clean. We loved the window balcony looking out across the county side. It was such a peaceful location with walks just on your doorstep. Would definitely stay again!
