This was our second time at Phils, first time to celebrate my 70th second time for my husbands 75th. When I asked my family where they wanted to celebrate my husbands 75th birthday it was Phils place. Its perfect for our multi-generational family, amples of space and the pool and hot tub are the icing on the cake. We all had the best time and we made lots of memories. Thank you Phil for the use of your lovely home.

Cath and Phil really couldn't be more amazing hosts! Thankyou so so much for letting us use your amazing home for my mums hen party!! The house was immaculate, super spacious, set up for a full party and was just honestly incredible. More than I ever imagined!! We made great use of the huge kitchen, dining room, pool room, garden area, living room and much more. I couldn't recommend this house enough for a hen do! Anything you need cath and Phil will be there to help you. Absolutely perfect. Thankyou again cath and Phil, the memories we will cherish forever xxxxx

Had a long weekend here for my partners birthday. The home was amazing and Angela and the team put lovely finishing touches to the house for us and such a short walk into the middle of Holmfirth, we definitely plan on coming back again and would definitely recommend there is so much to do within such a short radius Thank you again

The property and the location was absolutely amazing , me and my friends have made some amazing memories there. The property felt luxurious and there were soo many personalised gifts for us upon arrival which were much appreciated. the host was very responsive whenever we had any questions I would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants a country escape and I know I want to go back in the future.

Lovely stay, the farm was beautiful and the animal feeding was the highlight of our childrens’ stay. Pool was great, super clean everywhere, and they provided maps of local walks which we utilised too. Couldn’t have asked for much more.

2nd time we’ve been here as a group of ageing Dad’s getting away for a weekend together - and for the 2nd time it’s been exactly what we’ve wanted - we will be back again for certain

10 guests stayed on a rainy weekend, games room and pool were brilliant. nice local walks and pubs local were all lovely. A shame we couldn't use the outdoor area due to the weather but overall a nice stay!

Just like the pictures suggest, a modern well appointed house with great facilities. Comfortable bed (#1 priority) warm welcome and a brew on arrival - very welcome! Phil and Cath are very nice and very chatty and told me all about the Vicarage. After a good nights sleep, I slipped away early and didn't see them to say Thank You. Definite recommendation from me

We arrived at Holmfirth afew hours early and had a look around. it’s a beautiful little village with lots of walks at the heart of it. I reached out to Ben to see if we could check in early, not a problem he said with his very prompt response. When we entered the house we were pleasantly surprised on how cute the house was with all amenities you need, especially the kitchen which we used several times. The bed is luxurious in a beautiful room. There is a stream across from the bedroom window, when you go to sleep you can hear it clearly which I personally loved, it actually helped me sleep too. Lots of surrounding walks and lovely restaurants to visit. Nothing seemed too much trouble for Ben, the owner. He offered everything we needed for our perfect little stay. Thanks again. We’ll be back.

My stay at winking owl cottage was very nice. It is a lovely little cottage kept clean and inviting, would go again.

We had a fantastic stay at Naeem’s place. It suited our needs well as a large group of friends staying for a weekend get together. We loved the location as we were so close to beautiful Peak District walks, and got lots of use out of the communal areas and large projector screen. We really appreciated Naeem setting up the BBQ and hot tub before we arrived, and enjoyed using both. It is worth noting that the hot tub is not outdoors as shown in the photos, but instead in a small outbuilding that is well set up with lights and a TV screen, but does mean that you can’t sit and enjoy the view from the hot tub. We still really enjoyed using it and understand that this set up makes it much easier to look after the hot tub! The bedrooms were all clean and comfortable, as were the bathrooms. Naeem was a very responsive host, getting back to us very quickly when we had a small problem with the boiler, and checking in often over text to make sure we were enjoying our stay! The property is pretty good overall and good value. I would say almost everything was absolutely fine. Nice bed, bedding. Good quality towels. Nice Kitchen and Bathroom with everything you will need to use as a temporary home. Great Smart Telly which was nice. Only thing is the house could be improved by some paint touch ups. Bathroom door was a bit shabby, but it wasn't anything that would put me off booking this property again. The downstairs could benefit from a little lamp unless you don't mind sitting under a dazzling ceiling light all evening. But overall yeah good. I'll definitely be booking this again.

My parents stayed at Clare’s place for a Christmas present from myself and my brother. They absolutely loved staying here and said it was gorgeous and had everything they needed for a short stay. Thank you so much!

A wonderful stay! The pictures don’t do the accommodation justice ! An immaculate, modern, home from home stay! The cottage was stunning with views to match! Ita is a wonderful host & very accommodating with all of our requests! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend !

What a beautiful home! Very high spec and felt homely, fantastic space which was light and airy. Fabulous touches to the place and loved the open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area with height towards the upper floor. Bedrooms were spacious and decorated so tastefully. The outside area was amazing!! So much space on different levels and an awesome firepit area. The accommodation and outside areas matched the photos shown on the site. Super easy to get into Sowerby Bridge and beyond and see the rolling hills all around. I appreciated the information sent before our visit and Joseph was very responsive to all comms. Just book it!! You wont be disappointed…just delighted x

Sally’s little cottage is just the perfect spot for a weekend in Holmfirth. Parking nearby was not a problem, and then you can walk into town in just a couple of minutes. There is a small table and chair outside, just perfect for a drink in the evening. Despite a pub being nearby no noise at all overnight and we slept very well. Sally was very kind and flexible with the check in time. We hope to come back!

thoughtful amenities, responsive host, beautiful location with loads of nearby walking paths. Walking distance to shops, center of town, restaurants. A helpful and responsive host who made us feel welcome and at home in her cozy cottage and even gave us delicious treats!

We had a wonderful few days at Winkley Hall Farm. Fantastic property in a wonderful, peaceful location with everything you need for a relaxing, long weekend break. Our communication with our hosts was great from the moment we booked, to arrival and throughout our stay. And the lovely welcome gift was an added surprise and greatly appreciated! We were sad to leave and would definitely recommend this property, and will look to return at some point in the future.

BEAUTIFUL place in a lovely community, very walkable! Back garden is lovely and basement washing machine/dryer keep the noise away. Beds are on the soft side and incredibly comfy - very spacious as well. The kind of place where you'd happy walk around barefeet as well. Lovely bathroom with amazing shower
