We are on Capitol Hill, a short walk to the US Capitol, Supreme Court, Library of Congress and the National Mall with its iconic memorials, Smithsonian Museums and National Gallery of Art. Half a block away is Eastern Market, an historic indoor food market open 6 days a week. On the weekends it expands with outdoor farm stands and vendors selling crafts and other goods. Within blocks are many restaurants, shops and the Metro. If you need parking, please ask us for a free permit. Thank you!

Perfect open space for 1-2 guests. Comfy king-sized bed, couch, work space, mini fridge, microwave, electric kettle, and Keurig (but not a full kitchen). Private entry, space into basement unit and private bathroom. Near fabulous restaurants/ bars. About 15-min. walk to Metro green line. Note: While suite is private and closed to main home, home has 2 cats—a consideration for those with allergies. Also, it’s an old, connected home with original floors, and thus not soundproof.

Everything is perfect: the neighborhood, the location (20 min on foot to the White House, all kinds of public transportation nearby), the layout and furnishings of the apartment, the absolutely wonderful kitchen, the equipment (we missed nothing, nothing!). Jason reacts within minutes and takes care of every need you express. When in Washington D.C. , stay here!

Perfect for our 2 day stay! Just needed a nice clean place to lay our heads in the midst of our busy DC itinerary and this was great for that! We came during a week that rained everyday so it was just a tad muggy in the space but the hosts were quick to be sure the air came on nice and cool and had a fan for us as well! Wonderful stay!

Very nice place, especially for solo travelers. Paul is friendly and great at responding to inquiries. He keeps the place clean and is willing to offer recommendations on what to do in the area. It’s also a 20 or so minutes walking to the Capitol and the National Mall. NoMa Metro stop is a few blocks away. I’d definitely consider staying here again!

Kathleen's stay at Kathleen's home was great! The house is extremely cozy and very beautiful. The neighborhood is great with many options of restaurants and bars, as well as being relatively close to the local monuments. We made our circuit in DC walking for the most part. We love it and I definitely recommend it!
