House holiday rentals in Dixie County

We stayed here for the week of Thanksgiving and were more than happy with our accommodations. The house was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The kitchen was amazingly stocked too! The only thing I needed that I couldn’t access was a measuring cup larger than 1 1/2 cups :) But we made that work no problem. The kitchen even had an electric mixer and crockpot! I was so relieved with how easy it was to cook for our family. I would rent this unit again over and over.

Our stay was excellent. The house was comfortable and fit our family perfectly. The location is absolutely wonderful and there is a lot to do at the resort to entertain the kiddos! The restaurants in the area are close by and have excellent food! We had a blast fishing and scalloping! We will definitely be back!

Very nice and clean home! Spacious, and nicely decorated. We also enjoyed using the neighborhood pool which was right next door and the boat ramp as well! Quiet area, had the whole pool to ourselves. Close drive to restaurants in Steinhatchee.

Wonderful place to stay for the Fiddler Festival

Wayne and Laura were absolutely great hosts! Very detailed instructions on how to get there and get inside. The condo was beautiful, clean, and perfect for our needs! Super short ride to the gulf if you’re looking to fish. We will definitely be back!

We had an amazing stay at this Steinhatchee vacation home during our recent scalloping trip in the Gulf of America. The location was perfect—close to everything but still peaceful and relaxing with amazing views. The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. It felt like a true home away from home, and we appreciated the welcoming touches throughout. Highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting the area!

This house was very beautiful and in a great location close to everything. Very clean and spacious, the kitchen had every thing we needed. The porch had a beautiful view of the river, we enjoyed watching the manatees and we also seen an alligator. With having kids it was nice having a private pool across the street. The boat ramp and dock were very close. The neighbors were very nice welcoming. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area.

The location was great! I was a tad disappointed because the photos of the dock had not been updated since the remodel but it worked out for us anyways. We were able to catch plenty of fish from it and keep our boat in sight. We saw a manatee and shark one evening. The porch was wonderful to watch all the boat traffic in the river. Most folks were super friendly and would wave as they passed. The inside of the house was spotless. The open floor plan is very nice. You can watch the river while in the kitchen or sitting at the table eating or watching television. The beds were very comfortable. The showers provided plenty of hot water for a family of four which is a big deal for us. :) The location is good. Everything is just a short drive away with several nice restaurants and bait stores close by. When we return, we will be staying again at this location.

Great spot, and great parking for a boat and trailer. Perfect getaway vacation spot.

We stayed at Dorothy's place during scallop season and it was perfect! The location was close to everything and we rode our bikes to the restaurants. Everything Dorothy's listing stated was accurate and she responded immediately to the few questions I had. I'll definitely be booking again next year!

We really enjoyed Sheri and William’s place for scallop trip 2025. Their home is located in a quiet and peaceful area with some great restaurants nearby. The air conditioning was really great which gave us a nice reprieve from the summer heat at the end of the day on the water. Great hosts, very easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this home and will hope to return in the future.

Great stay

The River House was a great getaway, very peaceful and right on the river. We took out the kayaks and had a great day on the river. The house was exacy as described. A great get away from the city.

Beautiful house in a great location. The grill and Blackstone were a big hit with our group. The house was clean with everything we needed. The boat dock was a perfect size for both boats. The host was very friendly and proactive with details regarding check in and check out. We had a great stay and will be returning!

Very well done refurbishing on the inside. So nice! We especially loved the huge Florida room with the wet bar/kitchen area! Comfortable seating, huge tv and just so peaceful. The neighbor was also friendly. We had a great time on a short trip on the inlet of the river using the canoe and kayak that were supplied. We also utilized the fire pit. Wish we could have stayed longer and hope to go back again!

One of the best homes we have stayed at! This house is such a gem in the Hatch! We parked 2, 27ft boats in the yard and used a 5th wheel camper at the camper hookup. Plenty of space for 6 adults to sleep in the house! The host provided anything you could possible need for a home, such as soaps, extra linens, fresh towels, clear instructions and labels, 2 coffee makers & coffee, complimentary wine bottle. The porch offers a drink fridge, bait freezer, and a small ice machine. Ample seating and 4 ceiling fans make it a wonderful hangout spot! Furniture is really nice, the couches were comfortable and clean! Plenty of space to have everyone relax at the end of a long day offshore. Beds were very comfortable and the home had extra linens! A/c is nice and cold!! Boat ramp is less than 5 minutes away. This place is very family friendly as well and I would feel comfortable taking kiddos as well, there are games provided. Host was friendly, we had a wonderful stay at poppin’ corks!
