Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Dixie County

My family and I stayed at Courtnie’s home for our family vacation. The home is very clean and well equipped with everything you will need such as extra linen and kitchen supplies. The home comfortably fit our family of 14 people with no issues. We loved hanging out downstairs playing pool. The home is located conveniently to all the restaurants and amenities. We will definitly be staying here in the future. Courtnie is also a very lovely host. She was quick to respond with any questions we had which made our stay a breeze.

Nicole was an amazing hostess. She was very accommodating and helped us find a place during hurricane Milton and short notice. The house is spacious and clean. Nicole was also very responsive to every question I had in a timely manner. I would book once again. Thank you!

The location is perfect for us as it’s centered almost perfectly between the public boat ramp and Sea Hag Marina within easy walking distance of both. The unit is easily accessible with a trailer for our boat and we just can’t say how much we enjoy ourselves when visiting there

We absolutely loved Michael’s place. We felt right at home and we had everything we needed & then some. We brought our boat & put in at the public boat ramp. It was a short scenic ride back to the canal. We love fishing the flats. We caught redfish & trout everyday. There is a fish cleaning station over the canal, which makes it easy to clean your catch. Michael has everything set up for your convenience. Woody’s Bungalow is a beautiful place, spacious with lots of amenities. We can’t wait to come back and stay again. Michael was great, we couldn’t have asked for a better host.

The home’s decorations are cohesive and consistent. Windows everywhere including a giant sliding glass door from the 1950s. Kitchen is fully functional. Had a great time just sitting on the dock in the chairs they had all lined up. River looks beautiful especially in the morning. Sat outside multiple nights at the fire pit having an amazing time. Two things somewhat in the area - we did Kayaking at Manatee Springs State Park. Beautiful there! Also did a sunset river cruise on Crystal River. We would’ve done one on the Suwannee but we didn’t plan ahead and everything was booked.

Secluded little cabin on the Suwanee. Screened porch, good size yard deck. Great view of the river from the raised deck. Excellent little floating dock. Nice quiet place.

Me and my family absolutely loved our stay, I couldn't recommend this place enough for a family vacation on the Suwannee River!

We truly enjoyed our stay! The place was very cute, cozy, and clean. Gustavo and Dayana were very friendly, responsive, helpful, and made us feel very welcomed. Our lab also had a great time! We definitely recommend this place!

Great cottage at Steinhatchee Landing resort. Resort had lots of great surprises!Dont expect a yard or anything for dogs but there is a dog park that is a very short walk and plenty of walking paths to tire them out. Check in was easy and check out was even easier.

Real close to town and good place to bring your boat or hand out along the river or relax on the porch We will be back to stay again

We were evacuated from our homes in Tampa for the hurricane. All the hotels were completely booked solid. We were worried that we had nowhere to stay and then found this property. It worked perfect for our needs. They were very accommodating and allowed an early check in. The house is furnished nicely and was comfortable for 4 adults.

We come every year to Steinhatchee landings for Fourth of July. This was one of the nicest homes we stayed in. They had everything we needed and more!

Love spending time in Horseshoe. By far the best condo we have rented. Easy check in and out. No issues whatsoever. Will definitely rent again!

It was an amazing experience for me and my family, I would lie to come back. My son face was priceless when he saw the bonfire and Gustavo.

This place is absolutely beautiful, Stephanie is very attentive and proactive with responding. The house is beautiful, spotless, and close to entertainment. I can’t wait to come back with my friends, family, and bulldog.

The RV was perfect for our family of 5, it was stocked with everything we needed including linen, towels, pots and pans, a coffee maker, etc. Everything was clean and well organized. We will definitely be booking this RV again in the future!

Plan accordingly. Screened in walls but very sealed up. No issues with bugs. Weather was perfect for our stay. You will need your own pillows and blankets and electric fans during the warmer months. It rained a little during our stay and the sound of the rain on the roof and sounds of nature were very peaceful. We wish we would have booked a longer stay.

Not a lot of places to stay right on horseshoe beach so this is very convenient, especially if you are participating in/visiting the shrimp festival!

There’s nowhere on earth quite like this little home. It was the perfect escape from everyday life — a cozy spot to soak in the coastal countryside, with beautiful scenery right in the backyard. We’d absolutely stay here again!

We had a great stay overall! The cabin we were given was different from the one we originally booked online, but it had the same general vibe—and honestly, we ended up preferring it. Having two separate bedrooms instead of a bedroom and loft gave us more privacy and comfort. The cabin was super clean, well-stocked with all the amenities we needed, and the beds were very comfy. The only downside was the lack of a view—cabins are packed in pretty tightly, so our main view was just another cabin. The staff was friendly and helpful, and once the campground is fully finished, I think it’s going to be a fantastic spot. We also ate at the on-site restaurant, which is currently serviced by a food truck. The menu was limited, but the beer was cold and the vibe was relaxed! Would definitely consider staying again once the area is rebuilt and thriving again.
