Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Located in a subdivision that is a short distance from I-220. Near restaurants and shopping, but with a back patio area that makes you feel like you’re staying in a rural area on a series of ponds. The home has a backup generator so you never have to worry about power going out during your stay. One of the bedrooms was converted into an office/work space, but also has a couch for a child or teen that needs a place to sleep. No parties!

The Red House on Cross Lake

This is a Cross Lake cabin that we renovated from an old catfish restaurant built in the early 1930's. We call it the RED HOUSE. There are three cabins on the property that we also use for visiting family and friends. We live on the property behind the houses and we all use the property and pier. Guest also have use of the pier/boat house. The house is at the end of the road on the lake. Although family also uses the property the cabin is quiet and private with a great view of the open lake.

About 45 minutes from Shreveport/Bossier City, our lake house is located on a quiet curve of Lake Bistineau, known for its Spanish Moss-draped cypress trees and lovely sunsets. Please note that the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries has begun the annual drawdown to try to control the giant Sylvania weed. This garage cottage is located behind a charming duplex in the South Highlands neighborhood on a quiet residential street. Originally built in 1924 this tiny but mighty space was completely remodeled in 2021. 1 queen bed with a max of 2 guests. There is room to relax along with a private outdoor space, 1 covered parking space, and more parking available on the street. Washer/dryer available for guest use. Close to everywhere you want to go while in town! No pets. No events. No smoking.

The Minden Belle

This historic home is on Broadway making it easy to get to everything in Minden! Walkable to downtown churches, stores, coffee shops and restaurants! The rich history makes your stay memorable too! Dr. Milton Richardson owned this home from 1963-1989 during which time he, along with his brother, Tom and father Sam, also doctors, started the Minden Medical Center, just a short walk down the street! Dr. Milton’s granddaughter, Liz, now owns the home and is your Superhost!
