Heart of Lakeland,Ullswater, Slps 6

Carla and Wills cottage was the most well equipt and beautiful of all places I've stayed . Six of our family of all ages booked the cottage loved it and enjoyed coming back from the daily activities to a warm and cosy house. Cooking was a joy as there was every implement needed to cook whatever you wished. Everyone was catered for with dvd's, books, and games so we all had fun. Carla recommended having a look at the milky way on a clear night as it is stunning. We found the area picturesce , dramatic with waterfalls and excellent walks. The beds and bedding is of top quality and very comfortable so we all slept well. We highly recommend this cottage and a big thank you to Carla and Will x

Fellside cottage near Ullswater with great views

EssiRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a great stay at the cottage! A peaceful location with amazing views over the hills. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped, the showers had good water pressure and plenty of hot water, and the beds were very comfortable. The whole cottage was very clean. Easy check-in and responsive hosts. There are loads of hikes nearby, and a lovely fireplace to relax by after a long day of hillwalking. The cottage looked a little bit more bare than in the photos as some items (e.g. books, piano) were no longer there, but that didn't take away from the overall experience. We'd happily stay here again!

The Cottage at 15th century Sparket Mill

AnnaRating, 5 stars1 day ago
I had a wonderful few days at Mark and Kristen's place with my dog. I've stayed in many properties at a similar price point in the area and this was definitely my favourite so far. The cottage was even more quaint and beautiful than the photos, and there were so many thoughtful touches, including welcome biscuits and fresh milk in the fridge, lovely bed linen and blankets for the sofa. Mark and Kristen were perfect hosts, super responsive with my queries. I would recommend their place to any friend looking for a peaceful place to stay for exploring the north eastern fells.

Garden Flat, Ullswater: Fabulous views and reviews

Hannah Rating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This place has beautiful views of Ullswater across the gardens day and night, a comfortable bed, suitably equipped kitchen area, and feels well located for exploring around the local area. We had a lovely few days here getting out in nature, and enjoyed a meal at the Inn on the lake in Glenrriding 15 mins away, and a Sunday dinner at the Brakenrigg pub at the bottom of the road. There’s waterfalls, walks and boat rides all within a short drive, and Matt got in touch via message and email prior to our stay, so we felt there would be communication if there was anything we needed.
