Apartment holiday rentals in Dogtown

Had a wonderful stay, apartment was super spacious, & very clean, & we were close , & assessible to everything. Our complaints were the plumbing issue in the bathtub, & kitchen sink. The water got backed up in the kitchen sink & bathroom tub, which discouraged us from showering, & assessing the internet to get access to the apartment was difficult, especially when my internet was offline. Otherwise a great space! We loved it!

I truly enjoyed staying here. The place was very clean, not too loud, and perfect for a long term stay. About a 5 minute drive to BJC and SLU, with quite a few restaurants in the area!

The place is really nice for a quick stay for a week or so. The unit is spacious and very well renovated. Shaw is an awesome area with good safety and walkable restaurants. The only complaint is that the floor is a bit dirty as I think they do not mop the place, which is totally fine.

What a great find! From now on when we visit St Louis, this is the first place we will check to see if it is available. Maybe the best of all the good things about the place is the neighborhood it’s in. Quiet, without traffic and friendly people. There was absolutely nothing that came up during our stay which Naomi didn’t address in advance. She really knows what she’s doing and has all the bases covered.

Staying in this place was great! Everything as exactly as in the photos. The apartment was clean and cosy. Peggy and Jeff are excellent hosts and very helpful! I recommend this place to everyone.

I often travel to STL for work and it’s a great and affordable place to stay the week. Lovely and homey and a super comfortable bed!

This apartment didn’t disappoint! Spacious, classy, artsy, and highway accessible — a great place near 64 to get to where you need to go on your STL visit. Off street parking was a big bonus! The hosts were incredibly responsive, attentive to a wifi issue and helping me navigate a user error with the door lock. 😅 They provided local suggestions on great places to eat and fun adventures to have — a welcome surprise! As well, they were communicative with their expectations, all very reasonable. It’s clear they love this space, and want to keep it amazing. I would, too — it’s definitely a vibe! We really enjoyed our stay at David’s! The area was safe and private, walkable to some good caffès and restaurants. Big children’s playground close by and a park. Forest Park and the Zoo are minutes away. The place was spacious and clean. Would recommend staying here to anyone.

This place is super clean, spacious, and thoughtful. The beds and living area were also very comfortable. Great location and overall very great experience. Really enjoyed a lot of the coffee shops, restaurants, and parks in the area and would absolutely recommend this place to others! I would note that about half of the rooms, including the large bedroom, do not have AC units and were warm. They do have ceiling fans. We did reach out to the host to ask if there were additional fans or another way to cool down those spaces but it didn’t seem like there was anything to do beyond the ceiling fans. I’d recommend bringing a fan for at least the large bedroom if you’re sensitive to heat at all as those rooms were difficult to cool. Comes with the territory of beautiful historic houses. Other than that, such a wonderful place and we were grateful to stay there.

Great centralized location, easy access to main roads. Unit was clean and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable but would recommend bringing your own pillows. Hosts were very responsive. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely book this apartment again!

Rios’ was an excellent host! Responded very swiftly. Has a property manager if you have on sight issues before a certain time. Great stay would love to stay again. 5 stars

Best stay we've ever had with an Airbnb. The house was spotless and amazingly stocked with anything you could need. Although neighborhood was walkable and very quiet, there was a great selection of restaurants and little cafes within walking distance. Jeff was a great host and very responsive. We would absolutely stay at Jeff's in the future !

My husband and I came to St. Louis for a weekend and had a great stay at this place. The host was very friendly and made the whole stay easy and stress-free. There is some construction and renovation going on near the apartment, but the host did tell us about that ahead of time, and the workers did not bother us at all and only worked during working daylight hours. The apartment is very cozy and vintage, and I appreciated the renovated areas in the place but liked how there are some aspects of the place that feel vintage and original to the construction of the building as well. Overall, it was a great stay and would definitely recommend it for a cozy place for two!

This place was great for our visit to WashU. It was spacious, trendy, comfortable and clean. The building had a lot of cool spaces and amenities that we didn't get a chance to take advantage of but I would encourage others to save some time to utilize. It is an extremely walkabout area, right next to the park and a quick drive for us to WashU. Urus was accommodating to our early arrival which is always appreciated.

it was a great place to stay i enjoy myself. we didn't get a change use the hot tub but the pool made up for that because it felt like an hot due to it being heated but very good place to stay 👌

A cozy little place for a work trip or change of scenery. Also located above a restaurant, which is convenient.

Thank you so much for everything! We had an 8 hour drive and a long day before checking into our unit. Checking in and staying was the perfect relief at the end of a very long night and day. I understand and appreciate that Joe did try to get our unit ready for us earlier than normal but wasn't able to. My family each had a long bath in the huge tub, then slept like the dead. Everything was comfortable and clean, it was the perfect reward at the end of a long drive. We appreciate you hosting us! 💜

This was our first experience using Airbnb and we had a great weekend stay at helue’s! It was relatively close to the activities we went to do, It was a cute place and the other residents were also very friendly!

We had a great stay. Location is just close enough to downtown but not directly in the hustle. Several restaurants/bars within walking distance. Joe was a great host. Checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and gave some local recommendations.
