Holiday houses in Dokos

We had a wonderful stay in Karolos house. Everything was perfect, the house is quiet with a wonderful view on the sea and access to a private dock from which you can enjoy the sea and swim. The house is very well equipped, super clean, and the communication with Karolos was perfect. Looking forward to come back !

Are you looking for a place to completely unwind? Then look no further: this is heavenly paradise on earth! With your own private beach in front of the cottage (and left and right larger pieces of beach with shade spot), a large bay with crystal clear water, hardly any other people nearby, in the cottage everything you need such as good air conditioning in the bedroom and so on. Elias (or is it Nikos?) is a very sweet host. Upon arrival, we received a large bag of tomatoes, cucumber, oranges, fresh olive oil, etc. We have eaten at Nikos' restaurant several times because it was so incredibly delicious. Lots of choice, and everything fresh. Unlike many other restaurants, there is also a lot of choice for vegetarians. Don't hesitate, really go for it! Elias, thank you so much for your hospitality! We look forward to seeing you next time.

This was my first trip to Greece and my first stay on a Greek island. Hydra is charming, and the apartment including the back patio area is comfortable and practical. George also gave wonderful guidance as to local restaurants, bars and beaches which I relied upon a lot during my 5 nights. He is also responsive and easy to communicate with. I recommend this particular property and him specifically.

This days we stayed at Nektaria’s place were magical… The place is beautiful, had everything you need, clean, well decorated… it felt unreal to be honest! Nektaria gave us really good tips, she is a fantastic host! We had 3 small kids with us that had the time of their life in the swimming pool and beach. It felt very private and comfortable, exactly what we needed. I hope to come back as soon as possible, as this is by far the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed. Thank you Nektaria, for everything.

It was one of the best Airbnbs. Well organized, spacious room, clean bathroom with essential amenities. Highly recommend if you visit Hydra. One thing to mention is that if you bring a suitcase, take a seataxi. it only takes 15 minutes by walk from the port but with the suitcase it won't be easy.

Within three minutes’ walk, you’re on a quiet, clean, gorgeous beach! This was one of the things that attracted us here, and it was even better than we had imagined! The incredible views from the terrace and the peaceful location were just what we were looking for. The apartment was perfect for us - comfortable bed, great shower, good kitchen. And the additional outside shower was brilliant! Elena was a wonderful host. So friendly, kind, and attentive. She and her parents made us feel so welcome! It was hard to leave!

We had a great stay at Georgia's place on Hydra. The view from the apartment is even better than it seems on the Airbnb listing, and the terrace was nicely shaded for most of the day. Everything was clean and as described, and Georgia helped organise a mule to transport our luggage up to the apartment when we arrived off the ferry. The apartment is a fairly steep walk uphill, but absolutely worth it for the view if you are moderately fit. I would highly recommend this place and hope to stay there again next time I visit this beautiful island.

Niki's place was amazing, the beach was right across the street and there was also a beach bar with friendly staff and free sunbeds (as long as you bought something from the bar or their restaurant). There were also other beaches nearby, but we didn't feel the need to explore them that much since the one near the house was so convenient. The taxis to Poros and back were very accessible, responsive and prompt - they always came in max 10 minutes and each trip was max 9 euros (from the port to the house it's 5 if you don't have any luggage, 0.5 euros more for each luggage), 2 more euros if you ask them to pick you up at from the house to the Port. In the center of Poros we could find everything we wanted (cafes, restaurants, food markets, places to visit, souvenirs shops). As for Niki's house, everything was great and cozy, the beds were very comfortable, same goes for the living couch. The ACs did good work. We also cooked a bit in the morning. 100% would recommend to others.
