Jean's space was the perfect place to rest my head before a volunteer trip with DOC. Walking distance to downtown and intercity bus stop, but very peaceful and quiet street. The heated mattress pad made for a very cosy night! Clean and comfortable :)

This was a lovely place to stay for the weekend. The AirBNB was in a good spot relative to the adjacent house so it felt very private and peaceful. Would book again!

A great location for a weekend getaway in Matakana - walkable to the markets & local shops which is awesome on a Saturday when the place gets so busy. Natasha’s communication was super speedy and she was really helpful when we had a small issue at the start of our stay. She also provided us with a portacot for our baby which was great. The bed, pillows & bed linen were all luxurious and very comfortable. Unfortunately the unit is on the main road so can be a bit loud when cars drive past- didn’t bother us but may bother light sleepers (there’s also a street lamp right outside so the bedroom won’t be pitch black). At the time of our stay there was no microwave or TV - so bring your laptop if you want any Netflix time! Overall the place was a great size for a couple and a baby (would be a bit squishy with anymore people in my opinion) & was a great place to base ourselves for a Matakana weekend
