Stunning cottage, very clean and tidy with a bonus of the hot tub which was easy enough to set up . Located in such a peaceful area with an easy and quick to drive into town.

Grace's house was a real treat! Nestled away in the trees overlooking the river made it feel so private and peaceful. The house itself was so cosy, clean and inviting but had plenty of space and different areas to relax. The grounds were amazing and the kids had a ball discovering the swings, hottub and reading shed. The whole place was magical and we were sad to leave. Grace was very responsive to any communication and made us feel so welcome. The house location was a great base for some of the stunning sights Donegal has to offer and we were very close to many beautiful sandy beaches. This house was the best airbnb we have ever stayed in! My partner, doggy and myself had an incredible time at Catrionas. We stayed for two nights and sat in both evenings and enjoyed the amenities. Catriona has three lovely dogs and so many cute farm animals - we were lucky enough to see baby bell as a 3 week old lamb. Most importantly Catriona was very accommodating of our dog who can be a bit funny (being very kind), she was a great host. Her place is the most perfect tranquil piece of heaven! Would recommend it to everyone :)

Absolutely stunning location, beautiful scenery and so private and peaceful. Excellent location for visiting the cliffs and beaches. The local pub offers great food and wonderful atmosphere. Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly. Patrick was a very responsive host and easy to deal with.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb. The space was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The wood-burning hot tub was a highlight—though it took about 2–3 hours of tending the fire to heat up, it was incredibly relaxing once ready. The surrounding ponds added a peaceful, scenic touch, and we really enjoyed walking around the area. Peter was a responsive and helpful host, especially when I accidentally left something behind—he kindly let me return to pick it up. Overall, a lovely and memorable stay.

My wife and I had a lovely time at a charming little cottage. The atmosphere was cozy, and we enjoyed the sauna and hot tub immensely. We also liked having a bonfire outside for extra warmth and fun. Although it rained during our stay, we found that the cottage had good sound systems and a TV. This allowed us to listen to music and enjoy a wonderful evening indoors. Overall, we highly recommend this cottage for a relaxing getaway! :)

The house is gorgeous and so cosy. Mairead was so friendly and helpful and we had a brilliant time. pics don't do it justice was a fab little retreat. absolutely recommend. Glenties is a lovely wee town too and locals were so friendly. had an amazing trip

We had the pleasure of staying at this lovely cottage and it was truly the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had. The setting was beautiful—peaceful and picturesque, just perfect for a relaxing getaway. The cottage itself was charming, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. What really made our stay special was the excellent service and the warmth of the hosts. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We couldn’t recommend this place highly enough and hope to return in the future! Five stars all around!

Beautiful area with stunning views. Amenities, space and cleanliness were all great, absolutely no hesitation in recommending both Donna the host or this cottage to anyone wanting to stay in the area. We will be back again

We choose this cottage due to the downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms as one of our party has a disability and this worked really well for him. One bedroom has an ensuite and the other two bedrooms share the main bathroom (no other ensuite as mentioned in the description). Two of the beds are a bit on the small size for us, but we were able to sleep separately in the two rooms which were available. We were blessed with lovely weather therefore able to watch the sunset over the sea in the evening which was breathtaking. There was a fabulous food hamper waiting for us. Michael, the host made us most welcome and recommended the Narrow Quarter Bar & Bistro in Kerrykeel. Good recommendation as the food was amazing, but you need to book as it is very popular. I have marked down for cleanliness as the freezer was completely frozen over and we could not use it. We would definitely return to this cottage purely for its views, rugged and remote location. I

Das Cottage und das Grundstück sind sehr gepflegt und wir hatten wundervolle 4 Tage. Zur Begrüßung stand eine Flasche Wein, Wasserflaschen, ein Kuchen und frische Blumen in der Küche. Das ist sehr aufmerksam gewesen und keine Selbstverständlichkeit. Der County Donegal ist sehr schön und wir haben tolle Ausflüge unternommen. Vielen Dank für alles.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cosy Cottage. With the wood burner lit for our arrival, the cottage certainly lived up to its name. Cosy and very comfortable. We would definitely recommend a visit to the Beach Bar for drinks, food and the atmosphere. The Aughris coastal walk is worth doing. the views are stunning.

Fijn verblijf in het huisje, met uitzicht op de baai, en op half uurtje lopen van een prachtig strand. Aankomst met brandend haardvuur en fles wijn. Marie is een geweldige host.

Beautiful stay at No.7 Musesm View. Paul was very responsive host and met us for check in and a quick tour. The cottage itself is decorated beautifully with a great well equipped kitchen, you can tell everything has had thought put into it and good quality, fantastic for whipping up a meal or relaxing with a glass of wine. Decor through the rest of the house was moody and quirky and our kids loved the place. Definitely recommend for all types of breaks, whether with kids/family or couples. Handy to local supermarkets, bars and restaurants depending on your needs.

Clean, modern, well appointed house. Central location in town, close to amenities. MJ was very helpful and welcoming.

We arrived in torrential rain and were met by the owner who quickly ushered us into the house which was warm and cosy, explained where everything was and kindly left us a lovely cake and milk in the fridge to settle us in. The house is exactly as described, comfortable beds and everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. Great to be able to sit out on the decking with a glass of wine after our daily travels and enjoy the view, peace & quiet. The only thing we couldn't find was a hairdryer, not sure if there was supposed to be one but it didn't matter as we all had short hair!! Our hosts were very friendly and great to have a chat to about where we were planning on visiting etc. Lots of amazing places to visit and the most beautiful beaches, so lucky with the weather during our stay...the rain came back when were were leaving. Would highly recommend staying here :-)

Our stay at Peter's made my "Irish cottage with a view" dreams come true! the directions to get there were excellent. Getting in was easy. the cottage was warm and welcoming. Peter provided excellent tips for outings and day trips. You can go out on adventures or just hang out, relax and enjoy the view!

Wir hatten selten so eine schön gelegene Unterkunft. Perfekt zum Entspannen und Energie tanken. Die Umgebung ist einfach unglaublich spektakulär, die Berge und der Sehr schöne Strand. Das Dorf Ardare, 9km entfernt, bietet super Lokale und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Und die Gastgeber waren sehr nett. Vom Küchenfenster kann man die Lämmer beobachten. Weiter so

A magical and cosy cottage, beautifully decorated in calming neutral tones. The bed and sofa are wonderfully comfortable, perfect for relaxing, lazy days. It’s a lovely place to truly switch off and unwind, but still close enough to explore the charm of nearby unspoilt towns. The enclosed garden made it feel safe and welcoming for our 2 dogs, which was a big plus. Just at the end of the lane, you’ll find a stony seafront where you can take in the dramatic beauty of the Wild Atlantic Way. And if you’re after a sandy beach, there’s a stunning 5km stretch just a 15-minute drive away. There’s plenty to see and do in the area too, including a visit to Belleek Urban Park in Ballina. A wonderful spot for a peaceful, scenic escape.

The cottage was lovely. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and it helped that when we needed them, they were only across the road and happy to come to the cottage.

Its a lovely small cottage with all it needs like comfy beds, perfectly furnished kitchen and sitting area with a fire place. (it also has netflix but we didnt use- fireplace did a perfect job) - the house was warm - considering the howling wind outside and absolutely cosy. We were warmly welcomed and got a bottle of wine too. We had a wonderful time and would come back anytime again. Great place with a beautiful position. I was staying for a few nights as I prepared for an exhibition in Sligo. This is a good spot around 20 minutes from the town but with a good location for seeing nature and the countryside. Thanks :)
