West Lodge, Balblair Estate, Highland

NigelRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Absolutely fantastic location, with fantastic scenery nearby. Had some wonderful walks, literally behind the property. The BBQ area was fantastic like the hot tub. I can’t say much more, but I will be looking to return ASAP Matthew is a fantastic host and nothing seems to be too much of a problem. Loved the place, oh and the Highland cows are awesome.

Braeside Cottage, cosy 2 bedroom cottage.

Beth Rating, 5 stars1 month ago
Such a beautiful little get away with so many little hidden gems nearby! Was quiet 24/7 and we loved the peace and the amount of sun the garden and hot tub got. Such a cosy cottage and made us feel at home straight away, worth the drive! Thank you for a lovely stay ❤️

Gorgeous Rosemarkie Cottage

AlanRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The house was wonderful - we were delighted with both the location and with the property. The house was immaculate, and beautifully furnished with some really lovely pictures and objects throughout. The rooms were all good-sized and bright with the kitchen/dining area overlooking the garden a real standout. It was very well maintained and it felt like a proper home from home. The location was really lovely too - nice and quiet with a very short walk to the beach. We particularly enjoyed our walks around the area and along to Chanonry Point to look for the dolphins. A local pub and a lovely restaurant were close by too which was a bonus! Our host, Eva, provided us with clear and concise information prior to our arrival and messaged us a couple of times during our stay to make sure that all was in order. This was very much appreciated. We would not hesitate to recommend the property to others, and we certainly plan to visit again!

Tranquil Cottage a modern 1 bedroom let

GailRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Beautiful location - clear directions supplied by the host. Local pub serving good food within a 5 minute walk. Cottage itself was clean & within a quiet location. There is a hot tub in a separate building available at an extra cost - was also clean, ready to use with a plentiful supply of towels . Would recommend for a couple looking for a weekend away interested in walking or exploring the surrounding areas

Cosy cottage in Cairngorms with hot tub and sauna

XanderRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This place saved our holiday! We were camping in the Cairngorms and ended up with a catastrophic failure of our tent on the second night. Booked this beautiful cottage at 3:30am and checked in just over 12 hours later! Communication from Laura was fab, and she was always on hand with any queries we had. Delightful little cottage, and the bonus of a hot-tub and sauna made for a very different holiday than we had planned in a soggy tent. Would highly recommend, and would certainly look to go back if we stay in this part of Scotland again

Wild Farm Cottage

HarveyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Truly “off grid” in the literal sense! It runs on batteries and a generator!! Despite it not having wifi we all had great 4G so never felt truly disconnected thankfully. It’s such a private place with literally nobody for a square mile or more probably. I would say in the winter you will need a 4x4 to access as it’s a mile down a dirt track! Amazing place and can’t wait to revisit :)

Highland Hobo - Cosy two Bed, detached Cottage.

Richard NevilleRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lovely cottage with pretty bedrooms and a generous garden with barbecue and seating. Tranquil setting very convenient for Brodie Castle and close to Findhorn and the beach. We arrived late and had trouble figuring out how to use the the wifi and get hot water, but that was probably down to our tiredness rather than anything else. Would happily stay here again and may well do so if Jeana will have us back.

Loch Ness village cottage for 2

ClaireRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved staying at Kate’s cottage. It was very easy to find, and despite being on the main road it was really very quiet and peaceful. The place was cosy and well-equipped, and in a great location with a good pub/restaurant two doors down. Meant we could go out for good meals and stay in to cook something easy. There was space for us and our two dogs, and she even made the puppies feel welcome with some treats and blankets! Thank you for everything!

Wee Ness Cottage

PeggyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We absolutely loved our stay at Wee Ness Cottage! The flat was surprisingly spacious, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. Its location was ideal—tucked away in a peaceful courtyard that offered a quiet retreat, yet just steps away from a grocery store in one direction and the river in the other. A short stroll across the nearby bridge brought us to a lively area filled with fantastic restaurants, charming shops, and plenty to explore. We couldn’t have asked for a better home base. Highly recommend this lovely apartment!

Beautiful!! Welcoming! Village is wonderful and within walking distance. White Cottage Tea Room had excellent food (10 min walk). The local grocer was incredibly affordable (also 10 min walk). You can also walk into Inverness (2 miles) if you choose. Host was amazing and responsive.

Arts and Crafts Highland Cottage with Sea Views

LeahRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The time at the cottage was incredibly beautiful and slowing down. We enjoyed every second there. Peter was incredibly helpful, totally nice and had great recommendations for our time in the cottage. The cottage was totally lovely decorated, cozy and everything was thoughtful. From the hot water bottle, to the firewood, good equipment in the kitchen... We were really happy and already miss life there! We would come back any time and fell in love with Scotland a bit more!

Cosy stone barn in country setting

FrederickRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
A great spot in a pastoral setting with good value for the money. The only thing I wish they had was WiFi but they were upfront that there wasn’t any before we booked. We had a couple of needs and they went above and beyond to get what we needed. Great communication. Will come back.

Balloan Cottage

DeclanRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Vicki's place is amazing. We stayed with the whole family of 6. The house is really cosy and with 3 en suite bedrooms it's very convenient. The kitchen is very spacious and fully equipped and great for cooking. The sitting room is equipped with a cosy open fireplace and is also very comfortable. The surroundings are enchanting, an ornate garden, birds nesting in the nearby trees and lots of parking space for cars. It's within 10 minutes walking distance to the village with several restaurants. The communication with Vicki was great. She gave plenty of tips on what to do and she is very responsive. Just perfect. We can highly recommend and we hope to stay again.
