Family-friendly holiday rentals in Dorrington

Thanks Fred for a great stay. The apartment was well stocked for a few days stay. Large living space, patio, and bathroom. The location had a nice view as well. We would be happy to stay again.

We’ve stayed at a more expensive house last year but more expensive is not always better! We’ve had a lovely, relaxing, and cozy stay at this place. The house featured everything that you could possibly need besides clothes and food, lots of spices and utensils provided, as well as the snack storage had great coffee. The hot tub is comfortable and powerful. Walked around the neighborhood and to the two nearest reservoirs.

This is such a sweet cabin stocked with everything you would need to enjoy your time in the mountains. We had a great time and Kayla is an excellent host. The view is beautiful!

we loved our at Belinda, we had a raining so had an evening just hanging out,it was very comfortable, looking farward to staying again when we can sit on the beautiful porch and use the hot tub. Paulette and Ed

Enjoyed the rustic/ retro mix of this home. Vincent and Karen are so easy to talk to and accommodated a late check out.,Pricing was reasonable. Family enjoyed playing games provided as well as taking a stroll around the pond about 100 yards from the back patio. Jacuzzi needed a good shock treatment prior to usage but overall it was a wonderful stay and we appreciated the space.

What was great: The bedroom configuration worked great for our family of 5, with room to spare. Beautiful setting amongst the trees, with sunrise views through the main window. Well stocked kitchen. Close to Bear Valley Ski Resort. Using the fireplace every day. What could have been better: Hot Tub water was musky/murky. Check in and check out procedure required driving an extra 20 mins on both ends (pick up and drop off are at Bear Valley resort). Lots of automated communications, much of which was duplicative and included text that reads "Click Here," but is not an actual URL/Link. Having to pack out all trash. Slow internet Despite some opportunities for improvement, especially at this price point, we had a lovely time and found communications with staff -- once we were there -- easy and responsive. Getting to the ski resort was easy and the place worked well for us. We would stay again!

Amazing stay at this adorable cabin! Check-in was easy, I appreciated the keypad lock for easy entry on arrival. We brought our little dogs and they loved running around the fully fenced yard. The house was warm and rooms were comfortable. Rob was responsive and helpful. Nice location with trees all around but plenty of neighbors so you don't feel isolated. Nickel slot machine and pool table were so fun! The bathrooms are very nice. The only small issue we encountered, was that we got a little lost arriving to the house on the first night, due to our late arrival and it being dark so we couldn't see street signs/ markers clearly. I recommend using Google Maps to arrive, Apple Maps took us to the wrong location. Looking back I could see that Rob's directions were very accurate, I just misread them. The house is right in the area where Kewin Mill Rd. and W. Brookside Drive connect, right near Estralita Dr. if that's helpful to anyone. Thanks for everything and for the lovely stay Rob!

Easy in and out for Yosemite. Nice place to cook breakfast, but bring your own spices and seasonings.

A great location for exploring the gold rush area, Highways 49, 108 and 4. Easy access, great for our dog, and a cozy place to spend the night

We took a four day weekend in Murphy's to relax, see the sites and attend the Watertower show at Brice Station Vineyard. I have to say this cottage is one of the best stays we've booked on Airbnb, anywhere. The interior was a spacious, well appointed, high vaulted and practically furnished living space with one bedroom, one bath, a living room and fully equipped kitchen. Secluded toward the back of a fenced in, lush and well maintained backyard, this place is also a very short walk to downtown and all it offers (restaurants, park, wine tasting, etc.). Dog friendly too, not just this place but Murphy's in general. We definitely recommend this place and look forward to a future stay.

Bev and Rod are both exceptionally friendly and accomodating hosts. I had brought along a to-go dinner and bottle of wine; then it turned out that when I arrived Rod was at the BBQ making their dinner. So I was able to enjoy wonderful company with my evening meal - on their beautifully paved open patio surrounded by an amazing garden, while having someone with whom to share a glass or two of wine. The acommodations were also impressive, in what I learned is a former town bakery. My room for the night, its little kitchenette, and the bathroom, are without question professionally finished by a master craftsman, and decorated in an interesting artistic and unique welcoming manner. The little table in the bay window with a log hewn bench was especially fun. And a delightful side patio with a second private exit expanded their property's gardens to wonderfully enhance my experience staying here. Overall, I could not have wanted for a nicer stay.

We all loved the house, the surroundings, and peaceful/quiet setting. It was comfortable, clean, well stocked, etc. Everything regarding our stay was A+! The pool table was a big hit too. Don & Cynthia are extremely helpful & went above & beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Our group had a wonderful time and we would love to come back. Thank you for letting us use your beautiful home.

We had another wonderful stay at the Knotty Pine Cabin. I have lost count of how many times my family and dogs have stayed there. It always feels like coming home. The house is in a great location in Mi-Wuk - not far from a market restaurant and coffee shop. There are no other homes directly around the property so privacy is definitely a plus. With dogs it is important to have a fenced in area and safe potty area. We really like this set up. The home is well stocked with everything you need. The kitchen is especially well stocked - better than any house I have stayed in. We cook our meals every night and morning. This year we had an exceptional fishing year catching our limits of 15 fish every day. We were able to have a large fish fry on our 4th night. Having a well stocked kitchen and freezer space made this task very manageable. Coming to Pinecrest is an annual tradition for our family and we intend to exclusively stay here in the future if it is available.

This place is fantastic, and the pool area with outdoor kitchen & bar are much nicer that the pictures show! Steve and Kim are awesome hosts. Read the fine print own the air BnB website, there are lots of hidden costs. Overall a great experience!!

The cabin was great for me, my 2 kids, and our dog. We loved the big family room for gathering, and the fireplace was cozy on the cold nights. Everything was clean, and the kitchen was very functional.

We had a great stay at Connie’s cabin. Our trip was two couples, each with a toddler. The space was very well set up to allow us to put each kid down and still have board game nights after they were asleep. The cabin had a very lived in and homey vibe - which is what we were looking for! You could definitely tell the family has gotten lots of great use out of the house over the years!

The house is in a great location - you can walk to the Rec Center which made our lives pretty easy. You can hear cars throughout the day (the house is close to a busy road), but they were out in the distance and it didn't bother us a bit. The house was organized - we had plenty of room for two families. Patsy provided linens, towels, soap and shampoo and more. The pantry was well stocked with basic staples. We were there when it was HOT (over 100 degrees in some days) - the room air-conditioning in the main living space was enough to keep us cool. Patsy also had a system for working out the fans in the bedrooms that worked out well for us. I also appreciate that Patsy and Roger are great communicators - we had all the info we needed before we arrived. Whenever we had a question, they were prompt in replying. I'd definitely stay over in this special place in Arnold.

This is a wonderful spot. Top floor end unit with really lovely views(might be the best there) and very quiet. There were deer outside, hummingbirds, dragonflies and lots of sweet birds. Pool and games are close. And the people that work there were helpful and kind. There are a few spices in the cabinet but anything else you need to cook with you'd have to get at the grocery store or bring with you. Definitely equipped with all of the necessary utensils and linens. Having a grill was really nice. We would definitely stay again if we go back. Made for a fun and comfortable first night in Cali. One-of-a-kind home (two of a kind, I guess, if you count the CO version) made an unforgettable experience for our family (5 adults, 3 kids and 2 pups)!! Thoughtful consideration seeped in every nook and cranny! 1) brilliant open layout strikes perfect balance between having a corner/plenty of room for everyone, yet still with a lovely sense of togetherness; 2) exceptionally well-equipped and spacious kitchen; 3) play closet with enough toys and board games to keep our 2yo toddler and pre-teen girls equally entertained; 4) winter gear to borrow -- sleds, snowshoes, etc. -- kids spent hours playing in the hill across the street (within sight from the cabin). In terms of virtually every amenity -- from quality kitchenware, comfy beds, toiletries, extra blankets, towels, spare friggin' batteries -- the Chesa Madrisa was a couple notches above what one should be able to reasonably expect from a vacation rental! Hillary was an absolute joy to communicate -- we can't wait to be back!

Loved our stay at Katia’s place. Was the perfect size for 2 families. Lots of beds and everything was clean. Snow right outside the cabin so the kids had a blast the entire time. Just a short drive to go skiing / snowboarding. Would stay again if wanting a place where kids will have snow to play in and easy access to the slopes!
