Spacious and beautiful Alexandria home

This home is set up like a duplex with owners occupying the top (we do have 3 young children) and guests having full, private access to the bottom half. Guests are given a private garage and back yard that includes free firewood. Private entry gives access to over 2,200 sq ft of private space that includes a semi-four seasons room with gas fireplace, laundry, and full kitchen. Close to the bike trails, beaches, mini-golf and many more locations. We're happy to answer any questions you have!

Carlos Cottage was a last minute find, and quick getaway for our family of 8! It exceeded our expectations with cleanliness (the bed linens are devine!), open floor layout, the views, and new places to explore. The winery a couple minutes from the cottage made for a perfect afternoon for both the adults and kids, and a great hidden gem. We are excited for the dock to get in the water (saw it on the side patio) because the lake is super clear and would be a great swimming spot for the kids. Definitely looking forward to book again this summer or fall! Thank you for sharing your cottage with us!

Four of us— two adults, a college student, and a 7-year-old— loved our long weekend at this property. The lake was beautiful and peaceful, and we were grateful for the use of the kayak, paddle board, and pedal boat. The home was pristine and thoughtfully appointed— it had everything we needed. It was very handy to have the convenience store down the street, and Alexandria just a short drive away for dining/shopping options. 10/10 would stay again.

My family and I had a wonderful stay on Quam Lake. Everything was as advertised. The cabin was spotless and very thoughtfully organized and designed for a vacation rental. The exterior was landscaped well and kept very orderly. Location is phenomenal on a private lake! (we saw two people for a couple hours our entire 4 day stay.) Scenery and sunsets were amazing. The bird feeders were very active with many different types of birds. Fishing was excellent off the dock, which occupied my children a majority of the time. The fire pit was in a nice location by the lake with plenty of split hardwood to burn. Overall it was a trip our family won't forget, and will be looking into booking again.

The place was clean, and had everything you need to stay. We felt so comfortable, and will absolutely come back to stay here again!
