My partner and I had an amazing stay for our mini vacation. The South Lake Chalet provided everything we needed and was a short walking distance from pretty much everything. We recommend this place for your next stay in South Lake Tahoe and we will also be returning one day.

Mark was an amazing host. Very attentive and responsive. The location was amazing. Tucked away in the corner of the hotel. Easy to get to the local shops once you get orientated. Close to the lake and right next to the Heavenly gondola. Would definitely stay here again.

We typically stay in North Lake Tahoe but decided to spend a couple of days in South Lake this time. Couldn’t have been happier with our stay and we are planning on coming back very soon. Every question/ inquiry we had was answered within minutes. Would highly recommend !

South Lake Chalet is a beautiful location with exceptional accommodations. The staff and service were superb and I loved the local scenery and establishments. This is a very serene and peaceful place.

Really enjoyed our stay here! Designated parking spot, clear communication and the room was great- cozy, clean and included thoughtful accessories. We were within walkable distance to the lake, shops and restaurants.

My husband and I stayed with another couple for our first ever visit to Lake Tahoe. The home is in a beautiful, private, quiet setting. The lake was visible through the gorgeous pines of the region. The place was even more lovely in person, tastefully decorated and furnished. I look for homes with spacious bedrooms, and bathrooms with lots of counter space, and I hope for plentiful plush towels and nice linens. This home checks all those boxes! Matt was very thorough with info needed for the place and was timely to respond from booking to checkout, and we appreciated the short list of things to do to before we left. Would HIGHLY recommend!

My family enjoyed the home. There was plenty of space, beautiful bedrooms and a wonderful kitchen. (I love that I It had two dishwashers ). During our stay, my son had an unfortunate health incident, and Maria allowed us to stay an extra night at the last minute. We really appreciated that. The neighborhood is lovely, and the place again was absolutely beautiful!

This house was exactly what we were looking for! We had 6 people in our group (me, my husband, son, daughter, and their significant others). The location was perfect and close to most activities we did. The back patio was awesome to enjoy into the evening as the temperatures were between 45-75 in June. The kitchen provided everything we needed to cook our breakfasts and a few dinners. The kids enjoyed the chess board and played games every day. The extra 1/2 bath was very nice to have! Would definitely stay here again.

This is our second stay at Robert’s place. He greeted us personally even when we arrived late in the evening and helped us check in. We stayed in the smaller room of the two room villa which was very comfortable and felt like a luxurious hotel room. The room had a queen bed and a sofa bed which was OK to sleep in. The Marriott staff was super responsive and replenished room supplies with in 30 minutes upon request. The room also has a very nice bathroom with a bathtub, a small kitchenette with a microwave and a small fridge. There is also a coffee maker in the room which we used everyday (bring your own ground coffee since the provided ones aren’t that great) . The room overlooks the pool and the three big and small hot tubs. In the morning they have aerobics sessions in the pool so you might want to keep your windows closed if you are not participating. We really enjoyed the pool and the hot tubs which are open until 10pm. Parking can be a challenge if you decide not to pay for the $32 valet fee. We ended up parking behind the hotel and used the Flowbird app to keep adding time which ended up being cheaper then the valet. We were out most of the day anyway. Overall, I highly recommend Robert’s place.

Loved this place so much! Right in the heart of Tahoe so you can walk to restaurants and the beach without the hassle of the car and parking! Loved it so much!

We had a great stay at the Marriott Timber Lodge in South Lake Tahoe. The condo was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed—plenty of kitchen supplies, extra towels, and even laundry facilities, which came in handy after days at the lake. The location is perfect—right in the heart of Heavenly Village. It’s walkable to tons of restaurants, shops, and the gondola, so we didn’t need to drive much during our stay. There’s also a grocery store nearby if you want to cook in the unit. The amenities were a bonus: the pool and hot tubs were well maintained, and the gym was clean and had a good selection of equipment. Staff around the property were friendly and helpful. This was a great place to relax after exploring Tahoe, and we’d definitely stay here again.

Our stay was the best time. The location was in the middle of all types of funa criticizes, restaurants, and entertainment to keep us busy while also having a private secluded feeling. There wasn't a lot of outside noise disrupting the quiet times of the day. The staff were super helpful and have great ideas tailored to our interests for things to do. The room was comfy and had all the amenities we needed. it truly felt like a home away from home.
