Beachfront holiday rental in Douro River

We had an amazing stay at maria‘s place. the house is really nice and has everything you need. the location is just beautiful with an amazing view to the sea. really close to some nice and calm beaches. the communication with maria was really easy and friendly. we can highly recommend to stay there.

Our stay in Joāo's apartment was wonderful. The apartment is very clean and nicely furnished and there is nothing missing. There is a supermarket just around the corner and the beach is only a stone's throw away. The town and the surrounding villages offer a lot to discover and explore. Check in and check out were very straightforward, even without personal contact. We can definitely recommend this accommodation and would love to come back!

We had a great time staying in O Grove! Great location with close access to everything you need. Pablo was great at communicating beforehand and even when we accidentally locked ourselves out was super speedy to get someone else to let us in. The apartment was great for our needs. It had everything we needed and we really loved using the rooftop that had a great 360 view! We had a good experience and definitely recommend staying here! Overall would recommend

We loved staying here. It had a brilliant view of Porto and we were able to walk there easily (on either the high or low bridge) as well as around the local area and to the river and restaurants and Port cellars there. The apartment is spacious and really well appointed with a very comfortable sofa and a throw to keep you warm. The main bed was super comfortable- a rare find. The apartment was nestled right in the Roman arches with a road above us and one below. Being a lighter sleeper I closed the back windows and used the fan for air movement and to block out road noises. This compromise was worth it for the view!! Diana was a great host, responding quickly to questions and providing weather forecasts. We highly recommend Porto and this apartment

Perfectly equipped and tastefully decorated house in the heart of the Rías Baixas. Residential and quiet area. The photographs do not do justice to the views from the balcony, which are wonderful. Rosario is an excellent host, attentive and kind, she gave us a multitude of directions and recommendations so that we lacked nothing.

The condo is good located,clean and cozy. We really enjoyed it! We highly recommend it to everyone.

All I can say is wow! We spent 11 days staying at Adriano’s apartment and it felt like home! I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in such a well equipped Air BnB. If you could think of it, Adriano had it. In the bathroom there was shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hair dryer and hair straighteners. In the kitchen there was every utensil you could think of and more, I think you could cook a full Sunday roast dinner and have every pan and dish required! We are a family of four, with children aged 5 and 7. They made the most of the swimming pool during our stay and the beach. The pool is cool but refreshing. The sea was like ice but we made good games of jumping the waves and splashing one another. The beach is less than a five minute walk from the apartment and is a must during your stay, even if it’s just to watch the surfers fight the waves. It’s a very peaceful beach! Adriano is a great host and very helpful. We will be looking to stay again if we come back to the area!

We really enjoyed our stay at Tue’s house. It is a great size with good bedrooms and plenty of living space. Ideal for our family of 7. The house is well equipped with plenty to do - swimming pool, bikes, pool table, large garden etc. The local area is very quiet with a good beach and some nice local walks. The weather wasn’t great while we were there, which was unfortunate and meant we couldn’t make full use of the pool etc. but it was great on the sunny days. It could perhaps be improved with some soft covers for the sun beds and maybe another sun umbrella. All in all though we had a great stay.

We had such a fantastic family holiday. The kids loved it- aged 6 and 8 and so did the adults! Lovely apartment, amazing views, loved the pool and beach access. Lovely beaches and restaurants. And bus stop right outside for exploring other towns and villages. Monica was great- friendly, helpful and there if we had a question but also very discreet. Thank you!!

Peace on the water (at the end of the world) The accommodation was only found after a telephone inquiry, although there are only a few buildings in the village. This is VERY secluded, if you want to stay longer, you should shop well. There were only two cafes and one (closed) restaurant there. The nearest store is about a 1/2 hour drive away. However, it would also be possible to arrive by train. However, it is fantastically beautiful, right on the river, and the traffic of ships, trains and cars can almost be counted. I particularly liked the surroundings with the many flowers, the access to the water and the many seating and lounging options outdoors, both in the shade and in the sun. If you want to take a boat trip, you don't have to go away, the host also does such. You can also rent boats from him, and he gave us tips for fishing. The accommodation is worth its price, is well equipped and there is also parking in the shade. Many thanks to all

There was really everything, including a swimming pool and a lovely garden. Car can be parked in enclosed courtyard. Close to the village. Edy is very helpful and hospitable

We had a fabulous week at Lettia. It is about 25 minutes away from downtown Porto and right across the river from Matosinhos; which is a lovely city in itself. There are so many restaurants in the area you can eat in or get take out. The villa was exactly as pictured and our boys thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub every day. We had breakfast delivered everyday which consisted of an abundance of breads and pastries and fresh orange juice. They also stocked the fridge prior to our arrival with cheese, fruit, water, milk, ham and yogurt. You are not too far from the beach and can enjoy Leca da Palmeira or the beach in Matosinhos. The e-bikes were great to use to go the grocery store. Rita and her Dad made us feel right at home and were extremely responsive. Thank you for a terrific stay.

Ila de Arousa is a beautiful place. lots of easy walks. good supermarkets. Kitchen well appointed to make our first home cooked meals of the trip. view from dining room surpassing any restaurant. would recommend this location for a restful break.

LOCATION/LOCATION/LOCATION - excellent views of the ocean

Our stay in this wonderful apartment was simply fantastic! The breathtaking view of the sea has made it special every day. Maria and Carlo were exceptionally warm hosts – they not only welcomed us warmly, but also showed us the surroundings and provided us with many valuable recommendations. Thanks to their tips, we were able to fully enjoy the region. We felt completely comfortable and look forward to our next stay. Absolutely recommended!

The house is simply impeccable everything very clean, well taken care and exactly as in the pictures (or even better!). The view is extremely beautiful, those that make us stop just to admire. The atmosphere is super quiet, perfect for rest, and still has supermarkets and everything you need very close by. You even gave up the urge to live there! Without a doubt, a wonderful stay. I highly recommend it.

The apartment is just like in the photos, everything is clean, quiet place, next to the promenade and restaurants. We had a great sunny day to walk and get to know La Guardia a little more.

We loved this place in Moledo. The view alone: 1 row of the sea is within easy reach. We were greeted personally at Maria's apartment and got everything explained in detail. Very likeable! What was mega due to our flight times was that we were allowed to check in earlier and check out later on the last day. Thank you for this!! There are great restaurants and bars in the area. A bakery and a small grocery store are also within walking distance. Both Caminha or Vila Praia de Ancora can be reached quickly on foot or by bike (which we were allowed to use for free), as there is a nice foot/bike path. All in all highly recommended, we will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was beautifully furnished, very well equipped, and located in a peaceful spot right by the sea. Perfect for relaxing. We felt completely at home and would love to come back anytime!
