I spent a glorious month at Maria Celeste’s home. It was simply the best place to reset, connect with nature & rest. I’ve never been to a more peaceful home. Freshly squeezed orange juice (from trees) every morning. Lemons for water. A natural spring to swim off hiking grime. Mountains to climb surrounding the entire home. Lizard & butterfly friends. And so so quiet. Maria Celeste picked me up & drove me to the location. Taxi services available to go to town when needed. I can not recommend staying at this home more. If you need some R’n’R, stay. You won’t regret it.

The stay is perfect for spending some time relaxing and enjoying yourself. Everything is very well taken care of, down to the smallest detail, and we are delighted with the time we spent in the stay and with Betty's exceptional and friendly service. We will repeat.

It felt like home when we returned after 6 six years. The place of Laurence & Jorge is in line with the pictures and the view is amazing. The house has everything you need, we really loved the mattresses and the pillows. The house is surrounded by a large garden, and we liked the privacy and the fruit trees in the garden. Getting into the house is easy and communication is perfect. We will definitely return again! We recommend to do some groceries before you arrive, the nearest supermarket is a 15 min drive away. Amazing property and view. We had a terrific time. The property worked great for our group. Best sunset! Marco and his crew were extremely responsive. Driving in the Douro Valley is not for the faint of heart. We had a ball!

A great location in the countryside 45 minutes from Porto and 2 hours from Pinhão. Beautiful scenery , hiking around. Home is on a hill with amazing views of the Douro River. Beautiful outdoor space with outdoor kitchen and a small pool. Excellent for family vacation.

An unbeatable experience! Ainhoa's house exceeded our expectations. The views are spectacular, especially at sunset, when we were able to enjoy beautiful sunsets through the huge windows of the living room. The environment is very quiet and the location is perfect for disconnecting and relaxing, but at the same time it is close to everything you need. The heating worked wonderfully, which made our stay very comfortable even in the first days, which were cooler. But, without a doubt, the best thing was the communication with Ainhoa. From the first moment she was very kind, attentive and always willing to help us with any questions or recommendations. We will definitely repeat!

A stylishly decorated, comfortable, clean, home from home. We were well looked after by our hosts, who were available to answer any queries that we had. A quiet location, but only a fifteen minute drive from Burgos.

What an incredible place! This would have to be one of the best Airbnb I have stay at! It was absolutely stunning and had everything we needed. Daniela was the most incredible host. Not only did she give us incredible suggestions, she helped book a few things for us. She went out of her way constantly to make sure we were able to enjoy the area. She made our experience in the Duo Valley incredible and very memorable.

We had an absolutely incredible stay! The house is even better than the pictures, and our host could not have been more wonderful, flexible, accommodating and welcoming. A few highlights that aren’t immediately obvious: fresh bread delivery every morning, kitchen is wonderful and very easy to cook in, charcoal grill outside is fantastic - and lovely for grilling fresh fish in! (ask if fish is available from the local fish monger!). You can also easily do a day trip into Porto from this hidden paradise. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ricardo and his father Mario, or this amazing villa!

Dajas Douro Valley was perhaps more beautiful than the photos! It was the perfect place to relax between adventures in Lisbon and Porto. We especially loved spending time by the pool by day and cozying up with a bottle of wine by the fire pit by night. Alexandra and Tatiana were very welcoming. A few tips for future guests: The property is nestled in the hillside which means it is at least 20 minutes from towns/restaurants. We rented a car which was helpful for exploring nearby areas, but be prepared for many narrow, steep and winding roads! We found that Waze gave better directions (less rustic) than Google maps. We also wished we had stopped at a grocery store to stock up on some food for our villa before arriving. I also recommend booking reservations at local wineries as we didn’t have much luck just showing up (midweek at least). My husband and I would absolutely stay here again!

Staying at Quinta dos Moinhos was truly a dream come true for us. Not only was it the perfect setting for our wedding, but the property and the views were simply unforgettable. The home is absolutely stunning and one of a kind, nestled in a peaceful and picturesque location, with breathtaking views and a rich family history. Every detail of the home is filled with character, and you can feel the care and pride that has gone into preserving the home and the surrounding nature. Diogo was an exceptional host - warm, welcoming, and incredibly responsive. He even hopped on a Facetime call so we could see the property firsthand and feel more confident about our decision! Diogo is just a genuinely kind person, and from the moment we arrived he made us feel completely at ease. His hospitality and kindness were especially meaningful during such a special time in our lives. We couldn’t ask for a more special place to celebrate, and we are already looking forward to the day we can return!

We love to spend these 4 days at Fernando's house, a house in the middle of nature, with a lot of privacy, super clean and with everything you need to have a great stay. We were greeted by Goreti who is a fantastic person, showed us and gave us very useful information from the surrounding area and basically made us feel at home. Thanks to Fernando for the warm welcome! We undoubtedly recommend the hut!!

It's been a fantastic getaway! They have helped us at all times and the house is a wonderful place in a spectacular setting!

Thank you for this stay was lovely, we drove our car to the property accompanied by Rui and Isabella, only because our car is 4WD, the house is just beautiful, there is no one nearby and very quiet. There are also two bathtubs that need to be heated and enjoyed, it's very cool and relaxing! The house in person is much more cozy and beautiful than in the photos, it is a delight. It was especially nice that when I received a burn through my own fault in the bathroom in the closet there was a burn remedy, this is a very safe and cozy house.

We loved staying here. Very quiet, rural locations and a fantastic barn conversion with everything you need. Highly recommend walking in the area

We've had an amazing 4 days here. It's just a perfect location and we felt at home here. The pool, the view, the garden with grill - everything was just perfect. The only 'negative' things, if you can call them negative, is that the bathroom is on a different floor than the bedrooms, and that the parking is a bit tight for a large car. We can fully recommend this place to anyone looking for a private getaway in a beautiful location.

Miguel is truly a superhost, and his sister is very attentive to our privacy. The ad was true to what was published. It is ideal for disconnecting, for everything else you need a car.

Loved our stay at Miguel’s place. Quiet and cozy, lovely furnishings with high end details. Miguel was so flexible in letting us leave our bags before checking in. After our red eye flight, that was helpful. Ate out for our meals but kitchen had everything needed for cooking and eating in. A/C units were both in living room area as well as bedroom which was nice as it was in the high 90 degrees when we were there. The only thing I would add is a tv in the bedroom but we Americans love our tvs. I was there with my adult son who slept on a very comfortable sofa and it would have been nice to have my own tv in the bedroom. A very pleasant stay in a safe neighborhood close to grocery stores, restaurants, bars and museums all within walking distance. I recommend it and would stay there again.

Very peaceful setting with a beautiful view of the mountains.

We were a couple with a small dog for 6 nights in Aida's accommodation. Aida is a great hostess and was always available to us. The house has charm and a great view. However, we would have booked the house two days less if we had known in advance that on the last two days there would still be manual work on their neighboring house (owned by the family). Otherwise, it's a great quiet oasis to unwind and enjoy nature. Highly recommended.

The house is very nice in a very quiet area, it has a fan in the room and you sleep great, surrounded by nature and very quiet. 100% recommended, we will repeat for sure
