Monthly Rentals in Dover Beach

Very clean and comfortable! Tatenda is so sweet and responsive. Walkable to Yale and great restaurants, but also includes covered, safe parking in the building. We had fun grilling a dinner by the outdoor pool. Well-equipped workout rooms and the coffeemaker in the lobby was amazing offering a variety of options. We enjoyed everything about this Airbnb and will likely be back! Thank you Tatenda and Hyatus!

I booked the stay at the last minute, and Jonathan was incredibly kind and quick to respond, which I truly appreciated. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at ease. His place is absolutely lovely.... quiet, safe, and spotless. Everything was so clean and fresh, and I especially loved the soft, pleasant scent in the room. It gave such a cozy and relaxing feeling. The view from the room was beautiful and peaceful—one of those little details that makes a big difference. I honestly wish we had more time to enjoy everything the space had to offer, but we were only in New Haven briefly for a friend’s wedding. The bed was incredibly comfortable—so much so that I fell asleep right away and woke up feeling completely rested. Every detail, from the cleanliness to the quiet atmosphere, made our short stay feel truly special. Thank you, Jonathan, for going above and beyond and making this a wonderful experience!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. This is the kind of place that makes Airbnb truly special. I hope it gets the recognition it deserves—but at the same time, it’s so perfect that a part of me wants to keep it a secret. Shelly redefines what it means to be a host—warm, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. From the moment I reached out, she was incredibly responsive and kind, even across different time zones. She made sure everything was ready for us with care and intention. My friends and I arrived to find a spotless, peaceful home that felt more like a retreat than a rental. There were small gestures throughout that made us feel welcomed and cared for—Shelly had anticipated what we might need before we even thought of it. Her warmth showed in every detail.
