If you don't fancy cooking the pub is less than a 5-minute walk, as is the fantastic village shop. Off-road parking and secure, private garden safe for children and pets.

The 2 bed / 2 bath cottage offers a homely rural retreat for up to four guests – a relaxing space at the end of an active day, or a tranquil place to simply escape. The property has its own cottage garden as well as a private riverbank woodland from where you can fish - or relax by the water and watch the local wildlife.

The Garden Barn is a completely separate and private annex situated across the courtyard from the main house, with private garden and BBQ. Guests are also welcome to explore the extensive gardens, wildlife meadow and stream. We would love to welcome you to our hidden gem to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the place.

The Old Stable-Shippon is in the grounds of an Edwardian former vicarage set in the picturesque hamlet of Dowland in the heart of the unspoilt Devon countryside. It has easy access to the best of North Devon, Beaches (35 mins), between the moors ,and lots of dog friendly pubs.
