Historic Luxury Townhouse in Marlow

WOW! It’s hard to put into words how incredible this home was. We spent 10 days in England hopping between different towns and I can honestly say this was the best Airbnb we stayed in (and one of the best ones ever tbh). The home has so much history and Matt did a great job with telling the story (there’s a nice little history book inside to flip through as well if you wish). The kitchen was brand new and had everything we needed. The living room feels like you’re in a movie with the wall of windows and beautiful furniture. It really just is magical and you feel special from the moment you pull up to the house. Also, Marlow was such a great town! Super walkable, great park for the kids, we rented a little boat and took it on the river. The restaurants in town were spectacular (highly recommend both the Butchers Tap as well as The Botanist). 5 stars all around. Will absolutely stay again!! It’s a dream!

Anne’s cottage is in an idyllic location; situated right by a beautiful wood, we enjoyed walks with our dog and calming views out of the windows. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean. Anne made us feel very welcome by leaving us a card, binder full of local recommendations and helpful tips, and even a cake! This Airbnb was exactly what we needed for a short stay in Buckinghamshire to visit the St Andrews Christian Literature Festival.

We absolutely loved our stay at Georgina’s garden lodge! Georgina is a fantastic host, greeted us upon arrival and showed us round. Showed us how every thing works and gave us recommendations of places to eat. The lodge is so well thought out with everything you could ever need and more! The hot tub was the icing on the cake, so private and great to gaze at the stars. The location is absolutely perfect, in walking distance to many restaurants and bars. We will definitely be back to explore more of Marlow knowing we will be going back to Georgina’s fabulous lodge!
