Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Downtown Halifax

We were so happy to stay here. We loved the location and the charm of the place.

Very cozy place! It was right by the water with a beautiful view. Very convenient as well. We were about a 30 minutes drive from Downtown Halifax. Ashley was very responsive and helpful. Beautiful place and amazing host! I'd stay there again. :)

Enjoyed our stay at Emma’s place. Emma was very helpful with our arrival ensuring that we had a reserved parking space and a light on in the unit for our late arrival. The unit was very clean and the inside looked just like the pictures in the listing. The kitchen had everything we needed. My only recommendation would be a standard size coffee machine. The one that is provided was small so we had to make multiple pots. The bathroom was very tidy, toiletries were provided along with towels. The bedroom was perfect. Very comfortable bed with storage provided. Overall we enjoyed our stay but were a bit disappointed with the outside space. The listing mentioned a patio and bbq. However there was no bbq and the patio was not usable as no seating was available. In addition a few nights during 7 night stay it was quite noisy from above. But overall great value.

David’s instructions were great and the location was close to a lot of restaurants and an easy walk to the waterfront.

Excellent location with a beautiful sunrise view. I highly recommend for easy access to beaches and other restaurants or park amenities.

This place was great, beautiful house and perfect distance from the city. Their dog is very friendly and great to play with outside in the back. Clean place and had everything we need.

We had an amazing stay!

Shobac farm is a unique architectural and farm experience. It was great to have gaffs point and Hirtle’s beach within hiking distance. The sheep were a constant fascination for our pup. Appreciated having access to a lap pool, steam shower and sauna. Thoroughly enjoyed having a wood fire and enjoying and vast country side views from the gatehouse.

Awesome location. Very nice cabin -clean, quiet, comfortable. Host were awesome people - so easy to deal with, and very accommodating. Perfect getaway spot.

Appreciate the quick responses and getting the place ready with such short notice. Plane diversions from weather caused us to end up unexpectedly in Halifax - nice to keep the whole family together and ended up really enjoying the great area.

Lovely little inn in Grand Pre. Easy to find, easy check in. Room had nice up to date furnishings. The restaurant Longfellow was excellent. Food and service outstanding. 1 minute away is lovely winery where we did tasting and following day we rode bike trail to Wolfville for lunch. Loved the area and our accommodations

Our little cabin was more than enough! Clean and comfortable. I wish we could have stayed longer! I'm so glad we stayed local one day and visited the library and local eateries. Our host was easy to talk to and very responsive. We also loved the kayaks. We will be back!

Had a great stay at Laura’s Airbnb, it was conveniently located and matched the description.

Mark was very responsive, and the accommodation was very spacious.

The place was very organized and welcoming. It had everything we could need, it was in a very clean condition, and very well equipped. There was a guide with things to do and places for food. One thing to keep in mind is that there is an open roof so id recommend bringing eye masks. It was fun watching the wild life out the window.

Ilan is a super nice host, friendly and quick response. The place is in good location for driving around. Carpark is right in front of the place. There are two flights of stairs before reaching to the apartment. Be prepared for those who have big luggages. Since the place is conveniently located beside the main road, there will be sounds from cars passing by. If one is sensitive to noise, this may be a problem. However, we were ok. We heard the noise but we could go back to sleep.

We highly recommend Tammy's home. She should write a user guide for how to create a warm and inviting airbnb. The place was chosen mostly for the location, which was perfect. The thought and detail she put into this place was incredible. The house was spotless and had every amenity you could ask for. A 15 minute walk gets you to the Halifax ferry. The bridge to Halifax is a 5 minute drive away. From your personal deck, you can see the water. It was perfect. Thank You!

Michelle's place is really amazing, located in the nicest surroundings of Halifax, close to Lake Thomas which offers a variety of activities. It's just a 15min drive from Halifax Downtown and Halifax International Airport. So, whatever you opt out for, everything's possible. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and neighbourhood as well as Michelle's place which is spacious enough for two people and has a nice porch for good-weather-days. Equipment and decoration are well chosen, Michelle gives you all necessary hints for inside and outside and communication is very friendly so that nothing stands in the way to a perfect stay in Waverley. We really loved our time here.

Very nice and clean condo! The location was perfect — close to all the places we wanted to visit. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend! :)

We stayed for 6 months and it was absolutely wonderful! There were lots of beaches and trails nearby to take our dog. The views were amazing! We even saw a seal once! The apartment was beautiful as well, especially the kitchen (as someone who loves to cook and bake it was perfect!) It's the perfect distance from Halifax if you don't like the bustle of a city but still want to do some sightseeing if you don't mind driving a bit! Overall we loved every part of our stay :)

Staying at Josh's home was an outstanding experience. He proactively anticipated our needs, eliminating the need for any trips to the store. The house had a basic home gym that satisfied my needs, and the spacious rooms provided plenty of comfort. I am thoroughly impressed with the setup and strongly commend Josh and his team for delivering exceptional service and remarkable hospitality.
