Cottage holiday rentals in Drake's Island

Wow we loved this place so so much! Firstly it was within the most peaceful setting you could imagine. Sitting out in the garden was so serene, and the wood fired hot tub was a fun bonus! Inside was immaculate, so cosy and homely! Absolutely everything you might think you need was supplied! The upstairs bedroom/bathroom was dreamy! Surrounded by lovely walks (the coastal footpath was only 5 minutes walk away) and close by to some gorgeous Devonshire villages/towns, I genuinely couldn’t fault this property! Hopefully we will be back soon! ☺️

We had a lovely few days in poppins cottage. It wasn’t too far a walk to the town and beach and saved taking the car and trying to park. The house had everything we needed and the hot tub was a lovely addition. Thank you for letting us stay.

We had a great break at Harper's Cottage, Richard and Ute were great hoss.. We had a great welcome and quick tour, lots of good recommendations for where to eat out and about the area in general. All the small touches at the cottage add up to a great stay. Well equipped kitchen, lovely linens, dog beds, great shower, great hot tub, all of it was Fab. The cottage was very private, with amazing views from the garden and the conservatory. We hope to visit again next time we are in Cornwall.

As a group of four we had an excellent stay at Briardene. The cottage had plenty of space and was extremely well equipped and very clean and stylish. The hot tub was lovely and the quiet nights enabled a good night's sleep. There were two parking spaces which was great as the village is small with narrow roads. The village pub was warm and welcoming and the food was great. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Lovely little cottage with fantastic hot tub and outdoor space. Walking distance to Polperro village and easy access to the coastal path too.

An excellent place to stay with a lot of thought put into catering for young children. We especially loved the play area, the toys and games stored in the utility and the extra special touch of chocolate eggs that we were able to hide for an Easter egg hunt. At first I thought the bedrooms were on two levels. I was delighted to discover that both bedrooms were technically side by side, adjoined by only two steps. This put me at ease as we came to stay with two young children and wondered about sleeping arrangements. The grounds were beautiful and the place was spotless. Would definitely stay again.

A fabulous little hideaway perfect for dogs! Couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing break! The secure garden meant the dogs could roam freely and every detail was thought of. The house was immaculate and really comfortable and a great central base for exploring Cornwall. We WILL be back!

We had a truly magical stay, and loved every moment we spent there, especially the pool and the sauna, it was like being transported to another world. Bliss, we can’t wait to go back. They were super friendly and helpful. We loved every moment. Thank you

We had a great time and enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The host, Dean, was very helpful when we arrived and got a travel cot for us. The house is very charming and peaceful, it has a nice enclosed garden and it’s a lovely area to go and explore. Overall id highly recommend.

We had the most wonderful time at Blackberry cottage. All was superbly equipped, clean and comfortable. The view from the back of the house is beautiful overlooking the hills. Andrea is a fantastic host and made us feel so welcome. Thanks for all your help with our queries Andrea and your quick responses and for finding Petra to look after our dog on Saturday. She was brilliant

Wonderful stay at the Apple Loft, I loved everything about it. Kate is the perfect host - friendly and helpful. The space has everything you need for a cosy and comfortable stay. Lovely private courtyard garden with gorgeous 'cottage garden' charm (great for dogs - the garden is completely enclosed so no worries about them wandering off!) The farm is beautiful and peaceful, with great walks right on the doorstep. It felt completely secluded and private, yet it was comforting to know that Kate was next door in case I needed anything (which I didn't, everything ran like clockwork!). I will definitely be back xx

Absolutely perfect stay! Having first stayed here in 2019 we returned and have just spent three nights at this beautiful rural Airbnb and couldn’t have asked for more. The bed was incredibly comfy, ensuring a great night’s sleep after long coastal walks. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. The property had everything we needed, and the garden was a peaceful spot to relax. We loved the walks to Hope Cove and also did a fantastic 10km hike along the coast to Salcombe. Can’t recommend this place enough. We’ll definitely be back!

A beautiful spot which was so relaxing. The house was laid out well for 2 couples. We really enjoyed our stay. Disappointed though with the local pub. Wouldn't recommend eating there sadly.

Jenny is not a super host for nothing! She was absolutely brilliant in offering help and advice about places to visit, beaches, restaurants, etc She gave us detailed directions how to find places we wanted to see, even checking road works to ensure our journey was smooth. Jenny texted every morning to say when she was available if we needed any help. We found her to be super friendly and responsive. We enjoyed our stay, especially relaxing in our little private garden, as the weather was so lovely while we were there. Thank you Jenny for looking after us so well.

We really loved our stay at Nepenthe. The location is stunning with beautiful views out of all of the front windows and a lovely garden to enjoy a glass of wine looking out at the sea. Polperro itself is lovely with nice places to walk and swim- and some great cafes and pubs. There are some beautiful bays locally too : )

Great communications with Patsy from the get go so there were no concerns prior to arrival. And what an arrival it was …. Noss Mayo is a stunning village in every way. A couple of cracking pubs and everyone we meet and talked to were so friendly and welcoming. The Cottage itself is beautiful and very clean and had every amenity we needed. Beds were comfy and we all slept very well. That might have something to do with the amount of waking we did as the scenery is amazing so you’ve got to get out there and explore the area. The family had a brilliant few days over the New Year so I’d highly recommend 64 Bridgend

The property was as described and we found it beautifully decorated and stacked with useful equipment. The kitchen had all the cooking tools you could need for a comfortable stay. We really enjoyed our visit and found plenty of room to host family for dinner. Thank you for making this a real home from home! We shall be back. Thank you.

The location is ideal – just a short stroll into the village, meaning we could pop out for morning pastries or evening meals without worrying about parking. The views from the windows are exactly what you dream of for a Cornish getaway. A truly memorable stay in a charming corner of Cornwall!

Very comfortable stay in a cosy, well located cottage opposite the mill pond in Millbrook Village. Great location within the village (including adjacent parking) and base for exploring beautiful south-east Cornwall. Helpful and responsive host - thankyou!

Probably the best Airbnb we’ve stayed in, in terms of location, home comforts and surrounding community. The cottage is part of the sea wall therefore providing not only great views but a wonderful ambience within the building. It has a homely feel that allowed us to relax straight away, with great balconies and a sun deck to enjoy quiet moments just taking in the sound of the sea and the views. The local community was so friendly and welcoming, every day was a joy. There are great pubs, a little store and gift shop, plenty of history and lovely walks in the area. Dawn is a hands on friendly host who communicated with us promptly and made our needs a priority. She left some lovely goodies too. We will definitely return for the cottage, the sea and the community.

Lovely cottage to spend relaxing and peaceful vacation days with friends. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking and the living room offers a variety of games for fun gaming evenings. The view from the terrace is stunning and the flowers in the garden are super beautiful. We loved our stay and would definitely love to return.
