Old Miners Cottage

MarieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Had a lovely few days at Old Miner's Cottage. Very comfortable and cosy accommodation with beautiful views over the Tamar Valley from the outside spaces as well as indoors. Has everything you need to feel at home. Made use of the pizza oven and piano. You can get onto the Tamar Valley Discovery Trail a few minutes walk away although you need to be careful walking on the busy road. Janice was very communicative and helpful. Would totally recommend for a peaceful break with a beautiful view.

Cottage in Gunnislake

What a great place! The cottage was cosy and well equipped. Set in beautiful surroundings and a most peaceful location with stunning views. Ally was polite and friendly from initial contact and throughout our visit. Would certainly recommend this cottage for a family wishing to sample the Cornish countryside within easy reach of Tavistock.

Patch's pad

LucyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had an amazing stay at Kevin’s Airbnb! The location was absolutely fantastic — close to everything with plenty to see and do nearby. From the moment we booked, Kevin’s communication was excellent, making everything seamless and stress-free. What really stood out were the thoughtful touches. Kevin went above and beyond to make our trip special by decorating for my mam’s 60th birthday — such a kind and personal gesture that meant so much to us. He also provided a lovely welcome basket, which was such a warm and generous surprise. The space was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and we genuinely felt right at home. We can’t thank Kevin enough for making our stay so memorable. We’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommend! — Thank you again, Kevin! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Cornwall, Tamar Valley house with Dartmoor views

StephenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
From booking to leaving I can't fault anything about this holiday. As soon as i booked, June got in contact with details of the accomodation and the park. In addition, she offered lots of extra info about the surrounding area and places to visit while we were staying there. A week before arriving, June made contact with all the final arrangements regarding the keys and details of how everything worked in the property. On arrival, everything was as June described and the place was immaculate. Everything you could need for a holiday break is there. Washing machine, dishwasher, fully stocked kitchen. Great balcony for relaxing. Comfy lounge area for watching TV on a rainy day. Bedrooms good size with plenty of storage. The appartment is easilly big enough for four people with a good sized dining table to get round and play games or sit and chat about your days out. The Park: Pool is clean, warm and not crowded. Site is quiet. Location-wise it's ideal for either Devon or east Cornwall. 5*

The Annexe at Sherwell Farm

DiwakarRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Tracey and Peter are lovely hosts. We spent 2 nights in the Annex to spend time with our daughter who is studying in Plymouth. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. We had a very comfortable and peaceful stay with everything we needed. The homemade scones were the best. The outside space is amazing with swings and little seating areas. We loved the view from the barn. Hope to return someday.

Exceptionally beautiful views!

JustineRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Me and my partner have just got back after spending 4 nights at the little barn. Everything was as described. The photos don’t do the size justice it is huge! More than enough space for 2 people. The decor is lovely and just to our tase. The shower is amazing! It was lovely to see the horses and pony right outside the kitchen and bedroom window. Also the chickens roaming freely. Everything we wanted or needed plus more was there, tea, coffee , sugar and milk for when we arrived, oh and the lovely farm fresh eggs, these were delicious! The kitchen is kitted out perfectly. The hot tub on the decking area was an added bonus, watching the sun set of an evening whilst enjoying an Aperol spritz was amazing. Also the bbq was a superb added touch. Philippa was a perfect host! There if you needed. Philippa also advised us of places to go, I can highly recommend Tavistock, a lovely town only half an hour away. There’s plenty of places to visit. We have already booked for next year!

Cornish River Retreat - Sleep 7

JoshuaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This place was amazing. Very well setup with really good appliances and looks like a lot of thought has gone into setting it up into being a holiday home with comfort in mind. The whole ambience and setup of this house gives you a real sense of being on a luxurious holiday. To add to this, the host gave a lot of very good suggestions on places to visit and things to do. Really enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommended.

The Artist's Retreat, Calstock. Private courtyard.

ChristineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Mark gave very clear instructions, so we were able to find The Artist’s Retreat easily. He saw us driving up the lane and came out to give us a friendly welcome and even helped with our luggage. The property was full of character and had a lovely ambiance. We appreciated the treats he left for us and the fresh flowers too. We had everything we needed and thoroughly enjoyed our time in this special place. The location was great - a short walk down to the village and less than a ten minute drive to Tamar Trails parkrun. Unfortunately, the rain kept us away from the outdoor spaces, but we loved the fairy lights anyway! This Airbnb has an earlier check in and later check out than most- another big plus. We highly recommend The Artist’s Retreat and would happily return (hopefully with better weather!).
