Come and enjoy the beautiful Drenthe. Discover the Dwingelderveld, cycle through the Reestdal or visit one of the picturesque villages nearby. You can safely store your bicycles in our garage, and for short rides, we have loan bicycles for you. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance. We are looking forward to your arrival!

Private design cottage by the forest

Leave everything behind in this unique, soothing accommodation. In a meadow by the forest lies this Stuga. In the morning you will be awakened by the sound of the birds and through the large window you may see a deer walking through the forest. When you are in bed, you can look through the skylight at the starry sky. The Stuga is cozy and equipped with every comfort, with a complete kitchen, bathroom with rain shower and dry toilet. The location is central for excursions to cities and nature reserves.

Berend Bedje is a cozy, detached B&B in Zuidlaren, a great place to relax and unwind – after a walk, bike ride, a relaxing weekend, a visit or even a week. Our guest house is located in a beautiful spot on the Hondsrug. Here you are surrounded by nature: ancient woods, sandy paths, rolling fields, squirrels, deer and a wide variety of birds. Within walking distance of the cozy Gieten with delicious fresh bread or a Gieterkoek at the bakery. Here you will find the supermarket and nice restaurants. By bike, you can reach the Drenthe state forests with the beautiful Gasselterveld, Boomkroonpad and centuries-old dolmens.

Guesthouse "De Cranvogel" The cozy log cabin can be found in the yard of a farmhouse and has its own driveway. Sheltered beneath a wooden embankment, you look out over the Fochtelooërveen and the beautiful garden. During the summer, the view may be obstructed by the growth of corn or other crops. The log cabin has a bedroom, a bathroom, and a living room, and can be heated with a wood-burning stove. You can make your own cup of coffee or tea in the log cabin.
