Tolhuis De Klosse

This former toll house of the Klosse is located in the middle of the countryside. This cozy upstairs apartment (approx. 90 m2) is the upper house of a Norwegian artist. The farm is 5 minutes away by bike from Giethoorn. Equipped with a spacious dining kitchen, bathroom (shower, bath), 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and an open master bedroom (double bed) with dining/living room. The farm is surrounded by a front and back garden with various seating options and a priceless view.

You are welcome in our cozy apartment that is very centrally located in the north of the Netherlands. The apartment is a 15-minute walk from the city of Groningen. The Westerkwartier is characterized by the beautiful scenery. The provinces of Drenthe and Friesland are just around the corner. In a half hour drive you will find the Lauwersmeer area from where the boat leaves for Schiermonnikoog. You can order a delicious breakfast via Goldenraand catering before 12 o'clock.

The spacious apartment has been realized in the stable of a farmhouse. On the other side of this farm is a campsite with play facilities for children. The surrounding area offers many cycling and hiking opportunities. Unspoiled forests, moors, villages. In Hooghalen (walking distance) there is a baker and small supermarket.

We are pleased to offer our holiday apartment 120m2 of three floors. On the ground floor the kitchen, a spacious dining table and a sitting area. On the first floor is the bath area, toilet and sleeping area. These are separated by heavy velvet curtains instead of walls and doors. Our cozy, characteristic back house with an area of no less than 120m2 is part of a thatched farmhouse from 1862. It has a private entrance and plenty of privacy. There is a marvellous large living room with oak beams and loft. From here you have a beautiful view over the meadows behind.

Our apartment on the edge of Westerwolde near the woods. Emmen,Exloo, Stadskanaal, Sellingen and Bourtange are nearby. i ensure that there are recent leaflets and information about activities, outings and events from the area!
