Holiday rentals with beach access in Dublin Bay

Thought Denise’s place was lovely and was in a very nice area too which was right by the water. A great spot for a weekend get away that’s close to Dublin City centre. Denise was very friendly and was very responsive to any questions we had.

Derina immediately connected with us months before we arrived. It was like having a friend in Ireland! Our goal for this trip was to do excursions around Dublin (we'd already seen Dublin itself on a previous trip). Access to DART made day trips possible (it's 12-15 minutes to-from the station). Dalkey is a wonderful community that made us feel like residents. Great pubs, restaurants, and their own castle. Derina's house is quiet, safe, and is also within walking distance of an upscale grocery/deli (Barnhill Stores). We really loved our stay!

An Irish cottage that has been in the family for generations. Lots of character, space, and is very comfortable. Beautiful setting with parking by your door. Susan left us treats and was very friendly.

The apartment is right across from the beach, and beachfront was what we were looking for. The apartment was very clean and uncluttered. Within walking distance were grocery stores, pubs and shops. The beach walking trail winds down around the harbour for a very nice walk. Along the way is two nice areas to go swimming in the Irish Sea. The only struggle we had was the Google Maps took us to the street before, which wasn’t connected. A delivery driver in the area saved the day. Paul answered whenever needed and would have helped us if we messaged. We loved the apartment and the location , we would return.

Jamie was an excellent host, responsive and gave us clear instructions. We had great time exploring Dublin from here. His place was comfortable for us.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place was well appointed even with little extra's like spare power adaptors, sweets and an easy wifi connection QR code. Jenny clearly cares about here customers. The location was also an easy walk to some nice peaceful views. We had a great time and would recommend this place to others.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Sitting within an estate, amongst beautiful trees and manicured grounds, one feels truly special. The very large single room suite is tastefully decorated with bright windows, a complete kitchen and a comfortable bed. The owner was always available for questions and support and offered some wonderful suggestions for restaurants and things to see. We particularly enjoyed the view from Killiney Hill park just a short distance away. Staying outside central Dublin allowed us to escape and relax after a day touring around Dublin. A day trip to the Wicklow Mountains was also a highlight. All in all, a wonderful stay!

Great location, buses 2 mins away. We got a leap card with €20 and done all of our transport for 3 days. 15 mins into the city. Bed comfortable & clean linen . Studio as described. Studio clean & everything you needed, warm shower. We ate at the local pub which was good food & excellence value.

The house was easy to find. It was spotlessly clean. It was warm and cozy, had a real feel of home away from home. The bed linen was perfect. It had everything you could need. I would recommend this accommodation to anybody and would be delighted to stay here again. Ciaran was lovely to deal with, and very responsive.

We loved this home. This little seaside village is an adorable part of Dublin! It’s lovely to stroll the walkways and green spaces along the sea and there are bikes available at the rental! We loved all the little shops, pubs and cafes from Blackrock to Dalkey.Our 4 year old was able to burn off some jet lag on the scooter, swing and on the slide. I wish the rain had held off a bit to enjoy it all more but we did appreciate the amenities for children. There were puzzles, books and stools exactly where you want them when you have a small child. The only inconvenience was that 90% of bedroom closet, kitchen/bathroom cabinet space was unusable. They were either locked or filled to the brim with owner’s personal belongings. We were staying for 5days but traveling for 5wks so it didn’t allow us to unpack comfortably. There was nowhere available to put our toiletries in the bathroom so had to live out of the suitcase quite a bit …not the end of the world- otherwise, our stay was wonderful!

What a great house to stay at. Plenty of space in such a great location. Quiet and peaceful with the Blackrock town only a short walk away. Recommend the breakfast roll from On A Platter at the end of the block. Connie provided some unexpected staples making settling easy. She also put in a lot of effort to get the booking admin right for us. The beds were really comfortable which was quite welcome compared to other AirBnBs on our Europe holidays. We will be back. We have just returned from a lovely break in Siobhan’s quaint Railway Cottage - at the end of a country lane just beside the railway line - appreciated by the train enthusiasts in our group. Siobhan welcomed us with scones (jam & cream too!). The cottage was spotlessly clean, the furnishings colourful & contemporary - so bright and airy. There was ample accommodation for our party of five, the kitchen had all we needed and a cute out house as well which had laundry facilities if required. A 5 min walk took us to the beach and from there up to Ardgillan Castle - lovely walk to do in the evening at low tide. The cottage is ideally placed to visit the North Dublin area - lovely coffee shops ( recommend The Goat in the Boat in Skerries - at the harbour!) and places of interest. We can definitely recommend the Railway Cottage accommodation with its lovely garden - wonderful host- would love to return if the opportunity arises! Thank you for everything Siobhan. Amazing place to stay. A group of friends were in Dublin for the weekend so we rented the air BnB. Host was very friendly, communicated everything well and was on hand if we needed anything. 10/10

We had a fantastic stay at Nuala and Adrien’s place! Their home was welcoming, warm, comfortable, and had everything we needed—including cozy beds for a great night’s sleep. The location was perfect, just a short distance from the city center (10-15 minutes max), with beautiful water views that made it even more special. The walking path along the water is wonderful for an early morning or later evening stroll to see the tide roll in and out. Malahide and Howth are just a short taxi or bus ride away! Again, just an overall great location. Nuala and Adrien were incredibly welcoming hosts, going above and beyond by providing Leap bus passes for our use and leaving snacks along with recommendations for all the best local spots to visit. Their hospitality made our trip even more enjoyable. If you’re visiting the area, this is an absolute must-stay! Highly recommend. Thank you again to our wonderful hosts!

Really enjoyed our stay. The apartment had everything we could need. It was well thought out, the kitchen was well stocked, desk to work at and comfortable beds. We felt right at home and really enjoyed our stay. We attended a gig in St Anne's and were able to walk home afterwards which was really handy. The area has lot's of great cafes and restaurants all within walking distance and Ronan was an excellent host and had some great suggestions of places to go.

An extremely comfortable, clean and well appointed apartment next to the harbour and within easy walking distance of the town centre. Parking onsite is right next to the building. Great communication from the hosts. Recommended for a stay in Greystones!

The Argyle resort is fantastic, best beach side resort I’ve stayed at for my money. So peaceful, private and yet a quick walk from the beach and the best whiskey bar (harbor bar) and fish and chips (the strand) in Ireland! Jason is amazing and always out to help make the guests feel at home. The view from the property is breathtaking and other guests are respectful and welcoming to solo travelers. Thank you for the stay, I’ll be back shortly! (Hopefully with my boat anchored at rush or skerries if I’m lucky)

We had a great stay. The location is beautiful and the accommodation has all of the facilities you could need. The host was fantastic and left lovely welcoming touches for our arrival and answered any questions quickly. We would highly recommend!

Beautiful home with fantastic views and easy access to walkable spaces. The lively (people and dogs walking and playing along the Strand) yet peaceful area is a welcome respite from the more population dense areas of Dublin. With a little advance planning you can easily walk to the DART, the beautiful restaurants and shops surrounding the green space nearby, or just stroll down the Strand and soak in the vibrant waterfront vibes. The host is friendly and offers so much helpful information prior to your arrival so you really can’t go wrong staying here. Bring earplugs for the road noise at night in the primary bedroom, but don’t let that deter you from this waterfront location.

Top notch rental. Jocelyn was very accommodating and the apartment is clean and spotless along with great location. Walking distance to everything. We had a 24 hours layover in Dublin and very much enjoyed our time in Skerries at Jocelyn’s place. Only negative we wish we had stayed longer. We will definitely be back next year

The cottage is in a superb location with beautiful views along the coastal path as you walk down to Greystones harbour 15 minutes away, alternatively you can take the path along the cliff top that leads the other way to Bray. Simon and his lovely wife, greeted us warmly and the cottage was spotlessly clean, spacious and well equipped, it was a great place to stay in and just as described - charming! Nestled between the Irish Sea and the Wicklow mountains (look out for the Great Sugar Loaf), we found Greystones an ideal base with lots of nice places to eat and drink, Chakra, Happy Pear and The Beach House amongst our favourites, and there are many things to see and do in this wonderful part of Ireland, on foot or in the car, there are also good transport links, including rail with trains on the half hour. We absolutely loved our stay in Simon's cottage and had a fantastic holiday at Greystones!
