Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Dublin City

Spacious, sun drenched, well stocked, and clean apartment. Great location with lots of restaurants and sights nearby. Easily walkable, but public transportation is also right outside. Would highly recommend!

This is a really nice place. Central, in the sense that the sorts of things one might want to see are within walking distance, but quiet as not actually in the middle of things. Plan on lots of walking! Bedrooms are downstairs and living/kitchen upstairs which is fine as long as you can navigate stairs. Beds comfortable and with two bedrooms great privacy for us and our son who was with us. Lots of nice places for coffee and meals nearby as well as pubs. Ian is super helpful and allowed us to check in early which was great given that we arrived at Dublin airport at 8:30AM. Not inexpensive but clearly you get what you pay for! Overall a really great stay and highly recommended.

Gareth’s was exactly as described! The space was very comfortable, clean, and walkable to the center of Dublin. There’s also a bus stop right across the street that made getting around easy and convenient. As a host, Gareth could not have been better. Very responsive, considerate, and went out of his way to make us feel at home. From the local recommendations, to breakfast each morning, we felt very welcome and comfortable. We would definitely recommend staying with Gareth when in Dublin!

A lovely place to stay! Veasna and his partner were lovely to talk to and very friendly. Almost all of my destinations were within walking distance. They provided lots of recommendations for local pubs, restaurants, and things to do as well as several complimentary bathroom supplies. The bedroom was comfortable with a few hangars and shelves. My only complaint was that the bedroom was a bit too warm for my taste. The bathroom was nice as well. They also left space open in the fridge for me to use. Overall I had a lovely experience here :)

Very well located with great pubs and eating places nearby. The local train station is just a few minutes walk, making it easy to get into Public City Centre and back. There are very nice local walks along the beach and also in a beautifully landscaped local park. Overall, a great place to stay. Recommend it highly.

I love this place! It felt like home straight away. Clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated, with everything you need. Perfect hosts, gave lots of really good local recommendations. We could walk to all the attractions (museums, bars etc) and it was quiet at night. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Dublin!

We loved our stay! The house was great and so so beautiful! So many things right close by (food, bars, etc). Also totally possible to walk further into town to shops and even more restaurants and bars, etc. The beds were so comfy and the house had exactly what we needed! So much light and the bedroom in the back is AWESOME! We totally recommend staying here if you’re in Dublin! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

If you are looking for an excellent homebase for a city trip to Dublin, seek no further. I booked three nights at Bob’s and could not be happier with how my stay went. Bob’s an attentive host - there were complimentary drinks & snacks upon arrival, as well as a binder with information about transport, local gems and amenities in the house. The Coach House is bright, clean and hidden away from the road. It was the ideal place to retreat to after a day of exploring Dublin, Kilkea and Wicklow, we found. It’s located in a (gorgeous!) residential area and there’s a plethora of shops, bars and restaurants just a ten minute walk away. Bob and Julie-Ann were very communicative and proactive and made us feel at home without inconveniencing us whatsoever. We are already thinking of coming back to Dublin next year, and will definitely keep our fingers crossed The Coach House has some availability when we do! Thanks for the excellent care, Bob!

Diarmuid is an amazing host - communication was quick, friendly, and helpful. The apartment was easy to find and all instructions were easy and simple to follow. We had an amazing stay, the apartment was clean, modern and had everything you need for a trip away. The location of the apartment is very central to the city centre and everything in walking distance. Thanks again for making our experience unforgettable.

Quite two bedroom one bath apartment in a gated apartment complex. Out of downtown tourist area which is a plus but easy to walk or catch tram down there. Apartment comfortable. Grocery in the same building. Off of main road so quiet at night. 2-3 block to luas red line stops which are cheap and super convenient to connect around city or to Heuston station for day trips. Connolly station to catch train to Howth is easy walking distance. Multiple coffee shops in 3 block radius.

The self check in was very easy and the information about self check-in was given to us clearly and we'll in advance. The apartment looked exactly as it does in the pictures and was very clean with lots of utilities. We had a great stay and would recommend this apartment to a friend.

Spacious apartment in a cool old building near the heart of Dublin. Very lively neighbourhood; surrounded by tons of pubs, cafes, etc. Alex was a great host. Would definitely stay there again!

Amazing host! Really proactive, and considerate. The host just complements the already extraordinary apartment. The location is literally walkable from city centre. Literally right in front of the Samuel Beckett bridge. Highly recommended to anyone looking fir a stay near the city.

Absolutely fantastic apartment. Was a really nice change from a hotel, had a homely feeling. Denise was so responsive with messages and proactively helped us prior to our arrival. Would stay again for sure.

Claire’s place was great! It’s close to many Dublin attractions was quiet and comfortable each night. Claire was very responsive and helpful throughout the check-in and checkout process. We had issues with getting online after landing in Ireland, and she was very quick to reply and help us get checked in.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property and it would definitely be our first choice for any future trips to Dublin. The location is great as it is close to the airport but also walkable to town or there are lots of bus routes available. This Air BnB was in a great location just outside of the city center. It was peaceful and quiet neighborhood while being walkable to all major attractions.
